    一、苏菲诗歌翻译的前提:

    1、必须是苏菲本人喜欢的诗歌作品;
    2、不在纸质刊物发表、出版以及参加诗歌节活动的单首诗歌和诗歌集一概不翻译;
    3、不签订出版合同的诗歌集不翻译;
    4、不签翻译家姓名的任何作品不翻译;
    5、不尊重翻译家,讨价还价的不翻译;
    6、先付翻译费后翻译;
    7、苏菲个人主编的诗歌选集和诗歌翻译报刊,如有赞助,翻译费另行商议。

     

     

    二、苏菲诗歌翻译合作模式

    1、直接支付翻译费用或赞助翻译费(具体收费见下表);
    2、苏菲英语讲坛招生资源互换:如果诗人在当地有一定的社会招生资源,依据实际所招缴费的英语学习者人数,苏菲为其翻译相当行数的诗歌代表作;
    3、研究院所、高等院校、作家协会、文化出版机构、培训机构等与“苏菲诗歌翻译”或“苏菲英语讲坛”项目合作,具体可商谈。

    苏菲(Sophy Chen),本名陈丽华,中国当代女诗人、翻译家。美国英语“传奇诗人”。“苏菲诗歌&翻译网”创办人。苏菲英语讲坛创办者和主讲人。毕业于西安外国语大学英文学院。
    获2012年度“国际最佳翻译家奖”。“中国当代诗歌奖”(2013—2014)翻译奖。
    出版英译诗歌集六部:《花动摇》、《藏香》、《生之瞭望》、《异调》、《胴体向前》、《白娘子诗传》。

    摘要:文化部主管刊物《文化月刊》艺术人生栏目(2016年6月号上半月刊),刊发了诗人大藏的长篇文章《翻译家苏菲:用英语教育推动中国诗歌国际化》。文章首先以一个文化观察者的角度综述了中国诗歌翻译家苏菲(Sophy Chen)的诗歌翻译、国际诗歌传播的阶段性历程,同时重点转引与阐明了苏菲关于中国诗歌翻译与诗歌传播的理念与思路,回顾了苏菲从热爱外语到双语诗人、双语诗歌翻译家的个人成长历程;结合目前中国诗歌集对外翻译和在国际上出版与流通的现状,苏菲从翻译家个人服务于中国诗歌与文艺作品的国际翻译与推广的角度,提出以英语教育产业化来推动中国诗歌国际化的的可行性构想宏图。

        国内文学界“走出去”的呼声不断,越来越多的中国诗人,已渐渐不满足于出版中文版诗集、在汉语圈内的诗歌交流,他们想要成为国际性诗人,希望能在国外出版自己的诗集,有机会与国外诗人们进行交流。自然,这些汉语诗人诗歌作品的翻译,就成为一个迫切而重要的课题。目前,国内汉语诗歌的翻译工作方兴未艾,而专业从事这个行业的国内翻译家却寥若晨星。——英汉双语诗人苏菲,就是中国诗歌翻译界的一朵“奇葩”。
     

    苏菲:中国诗歌翻译界飙出的一匹“黑马”



        中国诗坛,很多女诗人都曾引起人们的高度关注,比如80年代的舒婷,去年飙红的余秀华等。但她们都是用汉语写作,极少听说有中国人用英语写诗且专门从事汉译英诗歌翻译的。女诗人苏菲,就是这样一位与众不同的诗人兼翻译家。

        2013年5月,著名诗人东荡子获得广东诗人黄礼孩设立的“诗歌与人·诗人奖”,苏菲对该次颁奖特别印制的册子前言、颁奖词、授奖词等的精准翻译,首先引起了广东诗人、诗评家的关注。苏菲首次引起媒体关注,是在2013年底应邀出席的“独山传奇”首届贵州诗歌节,当时,《贵州民族报》(《民族文学》周刊)高端访谈栏目,以《苏菲:“中国诗歌的对外翻译严重滞后”》为标题整版报道了苏菲的诗歌创作与翻译。2014年苏菲应邀出席“春山凤鸣”广州第五届女诗人朗诵会,她以标准流利的BBC英语和婉转优美的英文朗诵震惊全场,展示了英语诗歌与英语朗诵不同于汉语诗歌的瑰丽色彩,当时的英文诗歌朗诵在网络迅速流传,其中单单两个在酷6网上传的朗诵视频播放量合计就高达60多万次(据百度视频统计)。2014年8月,广东《信息时报》读书栏目,以《苏菲:从朗诵进入诗歌天地》整版篇幅采访了苏菲,大陆及海外超过150家媒体,包括中国社科院网、中国新闻网、新浪网、凤凰新闻网、台湾新闻网等转载。2014年10月,苏菲应邀出席第二届两岸西方翻译理论再思/批判暨“翻译中国”学术研讨会、全国翻译哲学暨首届翻译与诗学研讨会、首届中国(宝安)国际诗歌论坛暨名家诗歌讲座,以及2015年北岛主持的“香港国际诗歌之夜”等,在国内翻译学术界和国际诗歌论坛斩露头角。2015年12月,苏菲受邀担任首届“DCC杯”全球华人诗歌大奖赛评委并参加系列活动,并通过她创办的“苏菲诗歌&翻译网”传播平台,第一时间向国内外发布了大奖赛的颁奖实况,各地华语文化媒体纷至沓来,该新闻页面当天的浏览量就高达2000余次。

        出生于秦岭南麓、毕业于西安外国语大学英文学院的苏菲,现在是“苏菲诗歌&翻译网”主编、中国翻译协会会员、国际诗歌翻译研究中心研究员,同时是目前全球唯一一份以多种语言对照出版的国际性诗刊——混语版《世界诗人》季刊的客座总编。苏菲在从事高校英语教学之余,一边为该杂志定期翻译提供英汉或汉英翻译诗稿,一边专注于翻译有意在海外出版的华语诗人诗集。目前,苏菲已经把国内六位诗人的汉语诗歌集翻译成英语,汉英对照出版,为中国和世界100多位知名诗人翻译过代表性诗歌作品,并参与汉英读本《中国新诗300首(1917—2012)》作品的英译及全书英文校对,负责审译纯英文版《世界诗歌年鉴2013》、《世界诗歌年鉴2014》等。
     

    诗歌翻译与推广传播一体化的最初尝试

     

       莫言获得诺贝尔文学奖,为国人打开了一扇世界的窗户。但长期以来,由于中外语言沟通的障碍,中国官方的文坛诗界还没有建立起有力的国际交流机制和有效的国际传播渠道,民间的国际翻译更如零星雨点。

        苏菲深切地感受到翻译必须和传播相结合,也深切理解数以百万计的中国作家与诗人在对外推广和传播方面的困惑和焦灼。为了致力于中国优秀诗歌的翻译与国际化推广,同时致力于国际优秀诗歌的翻译与传播交流,苏菲创办了中国首家英汉对照个人诗歌翻译网——“苏菲诗歌&翻译网”(http://www.sophypoetry.com),2014年10月汉语版首先上线,2016年3月网站经改版建立了英文版、英汉对照版,名副其实成为中国首家由翻译家个人主办的国际诗歌翻译网。目前网站在谷歌的搜索抓取量达上万条,百度的搜索几千条,最高日访问量达到3000余次,单篇文章累计阅览量最高达近5000次。网站已推出以梅丹理、张智中、张智等为代表的中外著名翻译家和以杨克、伊沙、潇潇为代表的中国著名诗人。苏菲花了大量时间进行网站内容编辑,陆续将翻译的国内外知名诗人的诗歌作品上传,通过分享到国际诗歌社区进行广泛推广,还通过上传翻译作品和原创英文诗歌到全球各诗歌门户网站进行传播和互动交流,均取得了显著成效。

        目前在大陆以外,苏菲诗歌&翻译网和英语诗人苏菲在国际诗歌社区的影响力日渐彰显。印度圣乔治大学MuteMelodist学术艺术网和《澳门月刊》全文刊发了对苏菲诗歌&翻译网和翻译家苏菲的整体介绍,前者的网站首页还做了链接,苏菲陆续收到不少来自国际诗歌团体和著名诗刊、诗人的约稿函,如苏菲的英语诗歌《面对恐怖主义,诗歌是一无是处的是处》就曾入选POETRY AGAINST TERROR《反恐诗歌》2016意大利全球诗歌选本。同时,以苏菲诗歌翻译网和翻译家苏菲为纽带,目前已整合了国外包括韩语、阿拉伯语、孟加拉语、意大利语、法语等多语种诗歌翻译家,准备一起翻译(或转译)、推介更多中国诗人的优秀作品。

        苏菲所做的这一切,只是出于对中国诗歌的一份责任感和使命感,而做的翻译与传播一体化的有益尝试。对于海内外数量庞大的华语诗人群体和每天数以百万计的原创诗歌数量来说,只能是沧海之一粟,更集中、更广泛、更有成效的中国诗歌翻译和传播,正等待更多的中国诗歌翻译家和国际化团体参与。
     

    中国诗歌“走出去”:不能只依赖外国翻译家!



        对于中国当代诗歌“走出去”,苏菲有自己的认识。长期以来,中国古典文学,一直被看作是中国文化的精髓,甚至连德国的歌德、美国的庞德,都曾将目光转向了中国,那个时候被译介的诗词是古典文学中的精粹。中国经历了“五四”,在大量译介西方先进的思想与文学著作的过程中,新诗才蹒跚学步慢慢地成长起来;而现在经历了百年发展,当代优秀新诗,作为中国文学最成熟的部分,已经积累了蕴涵丰厚的思想内容,文化辐射力无可限量,因此有理由积极推广,让全世界的读者及时欣赏到璀璨的中国现当代诗歌文明。

        “现在越来越多的老外也想要及时了解中国文化,而当代诗歌,是继莫言获诺奖‘中国文学热’以来,除小说以外最吸引全球读者的文学体裁。”目前中国诗歌的对外翻译严重滞后。虽说近年来诗歌对外翻译有上升的趋势,可是相对中国目前经济、社会、文化的发展现状和诗歌自身的传播交流趋势来说,是严重滞后的。苏菲说,中国诗歌要走出去,中国翻译家首先要建立诗歌英译的坚定信心。中国翻译家要承担起诗歌翻译的重任,而不应该仅仅把希望寄托在外国翻译家的身上。她认为,中国诗歌,文学乃至文化首先要中国人自己来推广和弘扬。只有中国人才对自己的文字、文化理解的最透彻,翻译的最到位。她说,她曾经看过不少国外著名翻译家的翻译文本,对照中文原文后,照样挑出了很多误译和瑕疵,因此她认为,“外国翻译家也不一定靠得住!”。苏菲的言语如此自信、简单和直截。

        不过,苏菲并不是一个自负的人。她知道再好的翻译家,瑕疵和疏漏也在所难免,因此在翻译完一些文稿之后,她都会找一些高校同行、业内翻译家来纠正自己的翻译错漏,而且经常为他们找不出自己的毛病而茶饭不思。
     

    从热爱外语到双语诗人、双语诗歌翻译家



        一般我们都认为,诗歌不可译,因为不同的语言之间有不同的文化背景和语言习惯差异。而苏菲却用自己的亲身经历告诉我们,中西方的文化背景、思维和语言习惯不是不可以超越的。

        大部分中国人一听说学习外语,马上头脑发懵,而苏菲却不是这样。“英语简直就是上帝的语言,太美了!”她热爱外语,完全出于对异国语言和文化魅力的由衷叹服,使她不能自拔。苏菲透露,她学外语的“秘诀”,就是忘掉自己的母语汉语,而完全把外语当成“母语”来学。上大学的时候,她曾经天天在西安外国语大学国花园背诵优美的英语篇章,从最基础的《新概念英语》到英语小说、再到英语诗歌。平时的话,从早上6点一直读到上课,寒暑假就一直读到12点,从未间断。为了能说一口比准流利的BBC 英语,一条BBC英语新闻,苏菲往往会跟读模仿上千次。

        大学期间她通读了大量的英文原著,经常让自己变成原著中的主人公,随之喜也随之哀,让自己完全沉浸到英语的语感中,异域的文化隔阂在她的身上渐渐消弭。她还重点颂读了一批英文诗歌,比如华兹华斯的诗全集、莎士比亚的十四行诗、惠特曼的诗等,她不允许她身边的朋友们说汉语,甚至有意规避中文的书刊杂志。这样坚持了几年,使她成为能直接使用英语来思考和创作的人。情急之下或灵感乍来,她心里冒出来的往往是英语而不是汉语。

        热爱是最好的老师,给苏菲带来无尽的生命乐趣。她说,学习外语到一定程度,当她在欣赏英语文学作品,或读到一首优美的诗歌的时候,赞叹和享受语言优美的同时,便会爆发出一种要去转化成汉语的强烈冲动,后来她在读汉语文学作品或诗歌时,也同样有这样的翻译冲动。她走上诗歌翻译道路,纯属对自然、对语言之美和诗歌艺术的内心崇仰。

        一般来说,诗歌翻译是所有文学类别中最难的。如果译者是一位诗人,翻译的质量通常会高于非诗人的翻译。如何消除译入语和译出语之间的隔阂,苏菲的体会是,只有你能写诗并且写得不太差,才能将诗歌翻译好,否则很难真正把握诗歌的语言,当然——如果你能同时用两门语言进行创作,最好不过。苏菲就是一位自己既写诗又做翻译的诗人,而且相对于汉语诗歌创作,她更加拿手的还是英语诗歌。

        苏菲从初一开始接触到诗歌,就被诗歌纯美的魅力所吸引,无论古诗还是新诗都背得滚瓜烂熟,并懵懂地写下了第一首诗。后来上大学,因为是学英语,经常在朗读诗歌或其它作品的时候,被英语语言优美的音色和婉转的韵律所打动。现在,她写的诗歌中有多半都是英文诗歌。苏菲花了很长时间研究英语十四行诗和三俳句的格律,终于创作出了押韵和谐的英语十四行诗和意蕴无限的英语三俳句。现在她会总结那些经典的欧美英文诗和自己所写的英文诗之间的差别,还会拿不同时代、不同作者的英文诗作比较,“因为现在自己也写了很多风格相似的诗歌作品,体会更深刻”。

        对比诗歌原创和诗歌翻译,苏菲最看重的还是诗歌原创,她认为,没有诗歌原创就没有诗歌翻译。学习外语以来,苏菲写汉语诗歌相对少些,这几年,她创作了不少汉语诗歌,逐渐找回了汉语诗歌原创的感觉,这使她的汉译更加精准和完美;同时,她还经常尝试把自己的英语原创诗歌翻译成汉语,又把汉语原创诗歌翻译成英语,在两门语言原创和转译过程中,深刻体验到两门语言创作的奥妙和它们之间的细微差别。
     

    英语教育产业化助推中国诗歌国际化


     
       大家都知道,诗集翻译出来如果不出版、面市,而只是在网站、微信传播,在现在官方体制内的人看来,恐怕是“小搞搞”,难以登大雅之堂,也无法给进一步的国际交流与合作提供可供参照的资源范本。因此,苏菲自翻译出版了六本中国诗人的诗歌集和零星翻译了不少中国和国际代表诗人的代表作之后,就自然萌生了在国际市场上出版、推广中国诗人合集和国际诗人合集的想法。只有走上翻译、出版、发行、传播一体化的“集成”路线,中国的文学诗歌才能在国际舞台上真正找到立足之地。对于这一点,苏菲在多年与国内外诗人们的交流中深有感悟。而目前,国内除了最权威的官方诗歌选集,最著名的诗人如北岛、海子、舒婷及学院派的一批当代诗人和徐志摩、戴望舒等一批现代诗人之外,个人诗集、年度合编集几乎全部都是自费或找赞助才能出版的。面对诗歌不景气、被边缘化的现实生态,对于一个只靠几千元工资生活的翻译家来说,想要自己推出国内诗人的英译合集或国际选本,即使组稿、翻译不成问题,最大的难题莫过于出版经费问题。

        而除了诗歌翻译,苏菲的另一重身份是英语教师,每周都会去大学轻轻松松地上课、轻轻松松地下课。 她曾经讲过几百人的雅思、托福课,也曾一对一辅导过雅思、托福、考研及高考学生,让他们重新找回英语学习的信心,在短时期内增进英语学习能力,快速提升英语成绩,甚至将原本高考模拟考试50多分的学生,临近高考30天时间,经过苏菲系统辅导,学生高考轻松突破120分。现在她雅思托福的学生大多都在国外毕业了。学生们对苏菲最大的评价是:跟苏菲学习英语最值得骄傲的是,让自己建立了英语学习的自信心,打开了英语语言神秘的大门,对自己的人生起到深远的影响。

        原本,这算得上苏菲美好的英语教学经历,在她从事诗歌翻译后,便戛然而止了。除了上完学校规定的英语课之外,便没有再教授其他同学。因为她觉得,诗歌翻译是高度挑战性的事情,必须要全力以赴才能做好,而不能分心。如果不是因为她谋划的《中国新诗英译年鉴》(暂定名)一直无法筹到赞助出版资金,她可能永远不会往发挥自己英语教育这个天赋上来做文章。

        苏菲希望借助她在英语教学方面的优势,打造苏菲英语教育品牌,为中国诗歌的对外翻译、国际化推广和国际交流筹集资金,助力中国诗歌国际化。对于自己恢宏的远景规划,苏菲表示,她希望借助依靠在诗人圈、文艺圈、英语圈、企业家圈层的个人品牌影响力,逐步推出苏菲教育品牌,针对不同的学生需求开设不同的英语课程,进行网络在线或一对一、小班授课。在不久的将来,苏菲将建立自己的网络教学平台,创办自己的教学课室;开发、编撰从零基础开始一直到雅思、托福、研究生英语教育的教材;利用国际交流合作打通中国文学与诗歌在海外各国的出版、发行渠道,让每一个想在国外出版作品的诗人作家都能提高自己的国际影响力;同时创办诗歌翻译与研究中心,培养中国诗歌翻译和专业化国际化传播人才,最终将中国优秀作家和诗人的作品在国际上发扬光大。

        苏菲说,她的愿望是将苏菲教育做成像“新东方”那样的上市公司,我们衷心祝愿她的所有梦想能够成真!

      “Translator Sophy Chen: To Promote Chinese Poetry Internationalization By English Education”

    Abstract: Art & Life Section, (semimonthly, June 2016), “Cultural Monthly”, directed by the Chinese Ministry of Culture, published a long article written by Chinese poet Dazang “Translator Sophy Chen: To Promote Chinese Poetry Internationalization by English Education”. Firstly, with the point of view of a culture observer, it reviewed the periodic process of poetry translation, and international poetry spread of Chinese poetry translator Sophy (Sophy Chen), it focused, quoted and expounded her concepts and ideas on Chinese poetry translation and poetry propagation, and it recalled her personal growth process from love foreign languages to a bilingual poetess and a bilingual poetry translator; combined with the current status of Chinese poetry collection’s translation, publication and circulation in the international arena, Sophy Chen, as a translator from her personal services in Chinese poetry, literary and artistic works’ international translation and promotion, made a practical and ambitious idea to promote Chinese poetry internationalization by English education.

    By the continuing voice of “going out” in Chinese literary circles, more and more Chinese poets gradually have not been satisfied with publishing their poetry anthologies in Chinese version, to exchange their ideas in Chinese poetry circles, because they want to be the international poets, wish to publish their own poetry anthologies abroad, and have some opportunities to communicate with foreign poets. Naturally, the poetry translation of these Chinese poets has become an urgent and important issue. So far, the translation work of Chinese poetry in main land of China is in the ascendant, however the professional translators in this profession are very few. — the C-E or E-C bilingual poetess, Sophy Chen, is a “wonderful flower” in the Chinese poetry translation field.
    Sophy Chen: A “Black Horse” Soaring out of Chinese Poetry Translation Profession
    In Chinese literary circles, many poetesses have aroused a lot of people’s attention, such as Shu Ting in 1980s, and Yu Xiuhua soared popularly last year, and etc. However they’ve written poetry in Chinese language, so we Chinese people rarely heard that a Chinese person has written poetry in English language and specialized in C-E or E-C Poetry Translation. The poetess, Sophy Chen, is such a unique poetess and poetry translator.
    In May 2013, the famous Chinese poet Dong Dangzi, got the poetry award “Poetry & People • Poet Award” established by Guangdong poet Huang Lihai, the specially printed booklet of its prize presentation, such as its preface, awards words and prize words translated accurately by Sophy Chen which first aroused Guangdong poets and poetry critic’s attention. Sophy Chen first attracted media’s attention was the “Dushan Legend” of the First Guizhou Poetry Festival in which she was invited to attend as a translator in late 2013, at the same time, the Top Interview Column of the “Guizhou Nation Newspaper” (“National Literature” Weekly), reported of Sophy Chen’s poetry and her poetry translation in the full-page of its first page as the title “Sophy Chen: the Chinese Poetry Translation Into Foreign languages Is Seriously Lagging Behind. In 2014 Sophy Chen was invited to attend the “Phoenix Singing in Spring Hill”, the Fifth Guangzhou Poetess Readings, her standard, fluent BBC English and beautiful, mellow and full English recitation shocked the audience, which showed the different magnificent color of English poetry and its recitation from the Chinese Poetry, and which was quickly spread in the network, and where its amount of video playback was up to 60 million times in total (according to Baidu video statistics), only two video recitation in Cool 6. In August 2014, the Reading Section of Guangdong “Information Times” interviewed with Sophy Chen, in a full-page, by the title: “Sophy Chen: From the Poetry Readings to Going into the Poetry World”, which was reprinted more than 150 media in mainland and overseas, including the website of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the China News, Sina.com, Phoenix News, and Taiwan News, etc. She emerged in the mainland poetry translation academia and international poetry forum. In October 2014, she was invited to attend the Second Taiwan, Mainland, and Western Translation Theory / Criticism & “Translating China” Symposium, the National Translation Philosophy & the First Translation and Poetry Symposium, and the First (Baoan) China International Poetry Forum & Famous Poets’ Lectures, as well as the “Hong Kong International Poetry Night” held by poet Beidao, in 2015, etc. In December 2015, she was invited to serve as the jury of the first “DCC Cup” Global Chinese Poetry Contest and to participate in a series of its activities, and she also was invited to issue the awards live to mainland of China and overseas for the first time, through her founded communication platform “Sophy Poetry & Translation Website”, which the local Chinese culture media reprinted it in flocks and on the first day in this news page views reached more than 2,000 times.
    Born at the southern foot of Qinling Mountains, and graduated from the English Department of Xi’an International Studies University, Sophy Chen now is the editor-in-chief of “Sophy Poetry & Translation Website”, the member of Chinese Translation Association, and the Researcher of International Poetry Translation & Research Centre, as well as the guest editor of Multilingual Version “World Poets” Quarterly which is the only one international poetry magazine published in mixed languages. In her free time after her college English teaching, on the one side she provides E-C or C-E translation poems for the magazine regularly, on the other side she focuses on translating poetry of Chinese poets who are willing to publish their poetry collections overseas. At the present, Sophy Chen has translated six Chinese poetry collections of Chinese poets into English, published them in Chinese-English version and has translated more than 100 well-known poets’ master pieces of China and other nations, and also was invited to translate and do the English proofreading of the whole book Chinese-English Reader “Chinese Modern Poetry 300 (1917-2012) and the translation correction of “World Poetry Yearbook 2013”, “World Poetry Yearbook 2014” in English version and so on.
    The Initial Attempts of Integration of Poetry Translation and Promotion
    Mo Yan won the Nobel Literature Prize, which opened a window to the world for Chinese people. However, for a long time, due to the communication barriers of Chinese and foreign languages, the Chinese official literary and poetry circles have not established the strong international exchange mechanisms and effective international communication channels, so the private international translation is more like the sporadic raindrops.
    Sophy Chen has deeply experienced that translation must combine with dissemination and she has also deeply understood the confusion and anxiety of millions of Chinese writers and poets in the process of their works promotion and dissemination. In an effort to translate the excellent Chinese poetry and promote its internationalization, at the same time, commit to the translation, dissemination and exchange of the international outstanding poetry, Sophy Chen founded the first English-Chinese poetry translation website personally in China — “Sophy Poetry & Translation Website” (http://www.sophypoetry.com), and its Chinese version website was first on-line in October, 2014, and in March 2016 it was established a website by the revision in English, and English-Chinese version, which was truly transformed into China’s first personal sponsored international poetry translation website. At the present, its Google’s search has amounted to ten thousands of pieces, Baidu’s search thousands of pieces, its highest daily reading has reached more than 3,000 times, and a single article viewed cumulative amount has been up to nearly 5,000 times. It has been launched as the representative of Chinese and overseas’ well-known translators such as Danis Mair, Zhang Zhizhong and Zhang Zhi, and the representative of Chinese famous poets as Yangke, YISHA and Xiaoxiao. Sophy Chen spent a lot of time for its content editing, successively uploaded the translation works of famous Chinese and overseas’ poets, widely shared them by the international community of poetry, and also uploaded the translated works and her original English poetry to poetry portals around the world for communication and interaction, which have achieved remarkable effects.
    Outside of main land of China at present, Sophy Poetry & Translation Website and English poetess Sophy Chen have grown their manifest influence in the international poetry community. MuteMelodist academic art website of St. George University of India and Macao Monthly have published the articles on Sophy Chen and Sophy Poetry & Translation Website in the full text, the former one also made links on its homepage, and Sophy Chen have gradually received many poetry contribution letters from some international organizations, well-known poetry magazines, and the poets, such as Sophy’s English poetry, Faced with Terrorism, Poetry Is Nothings’ Nothing had been selected into “POETRY AGAINST TERROR”, 2016 Italian global poetry anthology. Meanwhile, by the link of Sophy Poetry & Translation Website and translator Sophy Chen now have incorporated the mainland and abroad translators, including Korean, Arabic, Bengali, Italian, French and other multilingual poetry translators, which are ready to translate and recommend more outstanding works of Chinese poets.
    All of this Sophy Chen did, that is just to have a useful attempt to the integration of translation and dissemination with a sense of responsibility and mission of Chinese poetry. For the huge number of overseas and Chinese poets’ groups and the millions of original poetry every day, this is the only a drop of water in the sea, the more focused, extensive and effective dissemination and translation of Chinese poetry are awaiting more Chinese poetry translators and international groups to involve.
    Chinese Poetry “Going out”: We Can Not Just Rely on Foreign Translators!
    For the Chinese Modern Poetry “going out”, Sophy Chen has her own understanding. For a long time, Chinese classical literature has been regarded as the essence of Chinese culture, and even Goethe, Germany, Pound, the United States, had turned their eyes to China, and at that time the poetry translation was the essence of classical literature. In the process of translation, a large number of advanced Western thoughts and literature, experienced the “May Fourth Movement” the Chinese Modern Poetry has been growing up slowly as a toddler; now going through a century of development, the outstanding Contemporary Modern Poetry, as the most mature literature part of China, has accumulated the rich implication of ideological content and its cultural radiation is limitless, so it is reasonable to promote it actively, and make the readers around the world timely enjoy the splendid Chinese contemporary poetry civilization.
    “Now more and more foreigners also want to keep abreast of the Chinese culture, and the Chinese contemporary poetry, in addition to the fiction, is the most audience attractive global literary genre.” since “Chinese Literature Hot” following by Mo Yan won the Nobel Prize. So far, Chinese Poetry translation is seriously lagging behind. Although in recent years, the translation of
    Chinese poetry into foreign languages is on the rise, by contrast of current trends of economic, social, cultural development of China and communication and exchanges of poetry, it is seriously lagging behind. Sophy Chen said that if the Chinese poetry wants to go out, the Chinese translators must establish confidence to translate Chinese poetry into English, and the Chinese translators should assume the task of poetry translation rather than only put hopes on foreign translators. She believes that Chinese poetry, literature and even culture first should be promoted and carried forward by Chinese people themselves. Only Chinese people can understand our own cultural the most thoroughly and translate it the most perfectly. She said that she had read a lot of famous foreign translators’ translation text, after making a comparison with its original Chinese text, she still picked out a lot of mistranslation and blemishes, so she believes that “foreign translators are not necessarily reliable!” Her words are so confident, simple and straightforward.
    However, Sophy Chen is not a conceited person. She knows that even the best translator, whose defects and omissions are inevitable in their translation works, so after completing some translation documents, she will find some universities’ peers, and fellow translators to correct their mistakes, and she often can not eat anything for they can not find their defects.
    From Love Foreign Languages to Be a Bilingual Poetess and Bilingual Poetry Translator
    Generally, we believe that poetry can not be translated, because there are different cultural background and language habits between different languages. But Sophy Chen has told us by her own personal experience that Chinese and Western cultures, thoughts and habits of languages are beyond.
    When most Chinese people heard that they need to learn a foreign language, they are immediately muddled in their mind, but Sophy Chen is totally different. “English is God’s language really, so beautiful!” She loves the foreign language that is completely because she has sincerely appreciated the charm of foreign languages and their cultural, which made her not escaped. Sophy Chen revealed that her “secret” to learn foreign languages is to forget her native language, Chinese, and to learn the foreign language completely as her “mother tongue”. In college, she had recited some beautiful English articles every day in the National Garden of Xi’an International Studies University, from the most fundamental English, “New Concept English” to novels, and to English poetry. Usually, from 6 am to class to be ready, in summer or winter vacation she’d been read to 12 am, and she’d never stopped to do so. To be able to speak English nicely and fluently as BBC, a piece of BBC English news, Sophy Chen often would imitate and repeat a thousand times.
    During college she read a lot of English original works, she often regards herself as its original heroine, along with to be happy and to be sad, and she completely immersed herself in the English language sense, which gradually eliminated the exotic cultural barriers in her body. She also focused on reading a number of English poetry, such as poems of William Wordsworth, Shakespeare’s sonnets, Whitman’s poems, etc., she did not allow her friends say Chinese, even deliberately circumvent Chinese books and magazines. Being insisted on it for a few years, it made her a person who could directly think in English and write in English. In a moment of her inspiration or desperation, what came out of her mind often is English rather than Chinese.
    Love is the best teacher, which gives Sophy Chen endless fun of life. She said that after she had learned a foreign language to a certain extent, when she was appreciating of an English work, or reading a beautiful poem, praising and enjoying the beautiful language, at the same time, it would erupt into a kind of strong urge to transform them into Chinese, and later when she read Chinese works or poetry, she also had such impulses. She started going on the road of poetry translation, it is purely because she enshrines natural, beauty of language and art of poetry in her heart.
    In general, poetry translation is the most difficult style in all literature. If a translator is a poet, his translation quality is generally higher than the non poet translator. How to bridge the gap between the target language and translated language, Sophy Chen’s experience is that only you can write poetry, not so bad, can you translate poetry perfectly, otherwise it would be so difficult to grasp the language of poetry, of course — If you can simultaneously write by two languages, it would be better. Sophy Chen is a poetess who not only can translate poetry but also can write poetry. Relative to her Chinese poetry writing, she is good at English poetry writing.
    When Sophy Chen started to contact with poetry at the first year of middle school, she was attracted by the charm of pure poetry, whatever the modern poetry or ancient poetry she would like to recite them by heart, and then she ignorantly wrote her first poem. Later in the university, because it was to learn English, when she often read English poetry or other works, she always was impressed by the beautiful sounds of English language and its indirect rhythm. Now, among her poems, most of them are English poetry. Sophy Chen spent a lot of time to study meter of English sonnets and haiku, and she finally created her own English sonnets with harmonious rhymes and English haiku with unlimited implication. Now she not only can summarize their differences from European and American classic English poetry to her own English poetry, but also she can compare her English poems to English poems of different times and different authors, “because now she wrote many similar style poems himself, with more profound experience.”
    To compare with original poetry and poetry translation, what the most important in her mind is her original poetry, Sophy Chen believes that there is no original poetry, there is no poetry translation. Since learning a foreign language, she wrote Chinese poetry relatively less than English poetry, in recent years, she has created a lot of Chinese poetry, and gradually rediscovered her original feeling of Chinese poetry writing, which makes her poetry translation works E-C even more accurate and perfect; at the same time, she often tries to translate her own original English poetry into Chinese, and again to translate her original Chinese poetry into English, in the original creation and translation process of two languages, Sophy Chen has profoundly experienced the creation secrets of two languages and nuances between them.
    English Education Industrialization Boosting Chinese Poetry Internationalization
    As we all know that if the translated poetry collections had not been published and well sold in the book market, and only spread at websites, WeChat, and etc, they were probably the humble “Personal Action,” in the people’s eyes of official institutions and probably not only the “small trouble to make,” but also unable to give further international exchanges and cooperation to provide resources for reference template. Thus, after translated and published six Chinese poet’s poetry collections and some representatives of Chinese poets and international poets’ masterpieces, Sophy Chen naturally initiated her idea to translate the Chinese poets’ and international poets’ poetry collections to publish and promote them in the international book market. Only embarking on translation, publishing, distribution, and “integrated” line of communication integration, Chinese literary and poetry can really find a foothold in the international stage. For this, Sophy Chen has a deep understanding in the past few years to exchange of ideas with Chinese and foreign poets. At present, in mainland of China, apart from those most authoritative official poetry anthologies, the most famous academic group of contemporary poets, as Bei Dao, Haizi, Shu Ting, and a number of modern poets, as Xu Zhimo, and Dai Wangshu, another poets’ poetry collections and the poetry yearbooks, are almost entirely at their own expense or find sponsorship to publishing. In the face of poetry’s recession, and poetry’s ecological reality of being marginalized, a translator who has only relied on a few thousand Yuan for a living, wants to launch the English translation collections of Chinese poets or international poets’ Chinese anthologies, even the soliciting contributions and translation is not a problem, well the cost of publication is the biggest problem.
    In addition to poetry translation, Sophy Chen’s another social character is an English teacher, she will go Universities to have her classes in leisure and finish her classes in leisure every week. She once taught hundreds of people’s IELTS, TOEFL, postgraduate’s English examination courses, and even the college entrance English examination courses, which made her students’ regain their English learning confidence, enhance their English learning ability, and improve their English score rapidly in the very short time and even help the students whose original entrance exams were 50s, near the college entrance English examination only 30 days, by Sophy Chen’s profound taught, those students’ score were easily broken 120 points in the college entrance English examination. Now her students of her IELTS and TOEFL classes have mostly graduated abroad. The largest evaluation of her students is: the most proud of learning English with Sophy Chen is to have established their own self-confidence in English learning, opened the door to the mystery of English language and had a profound impact on their life.
    Originally, this could be considered as Sophy Chens’ better English teaching experience, but it had been halted up after her poetry translation. In addition to finish the English classes provided by her school, she no longer teaches other students. Because she felt that poetry translation was a highly challenging thing, she must try her best to do and could not be distracted. If not for her plan of “Chinese Contemporary Poetry Translation Yearbook” (tentative name) has been unable to raise funds to sponsor the publication, she may never think of her talent in English education and develop her teaching talent.
    Now Sophy Chen’s dreams are she hopes she can build her English education brand by the advantage of her English teaching, and raise funds for Chinese poetry translation, international promotion and exchange, and give her hands to Chinese poetry internationalization. It is always good to have a dream, but the key is that we need the effective approaches, methods and steps to realize it. In this regard, Sophy Chen has her own grand vision between her joyous words full of longing feelings. Now, she is hoping to rely on her own personal brand influence among poets’ circles, literary circles, English circles, and entrepreneurs’ circles, and gradually build Sophy education brand and give different English courses for different needs of students by online live or one-to-one teaching or small classes. In the near future, Sophy Chen would like to establish her own network teaching platform, and start her own online live classroom; she would like to develop and compile her own education materials from the every beginning, the zero based English foundation to IELTS, TOEFL and graduate English and even poetry translation; she would like to open up Chinese literature and poetry publishing and distribution channels in oversea countries by the international exchange and cooperation, so that make every poet or writer who wants to publish her or his works to improve his international influence; at the same time she would like to create the Poetry Translation and Research Center to cultivate the Chinese poetry translation talents and specialized and international Chinese culture spreading talents, and eventually flourish the works of Chinese outstanding writers and poets internationalized.
    Sophy Chen said that her wish is to make Sophy Education a public company as “New Oriental”. Let us sincerely wish all of her dreams can be true!

    一、苏菲诗歌翻译的前提:

    1、必须是苏菲本人喜欢的诗歌作品;
    2、不在纸质刊物发表、出版以及参加诗歌节活动的单首诗歌和诗歌集一概不翻译;
    3、不签订出版合同的诗歌集不翻译;
    4、不签翻译家姓名的任何作品不翻译;
    5、不尊重翻译家,讨价还价的不翻译;
    6、先付翻译费后翻译;
    7、苏菲个人主编的诗歌选集和诗歌翻译报刊,如有赞助,翻译费另行商议。

     

     

    二、苏菲诗歌翻译合作模式

    1、直接支付翻译费用或赞助翻译费(具体收费见下表);
    2、苏菲英语讲坛招生资源互换:如果诗人在当地有一定的社会招生资源,依据实际所招缴费的英语学习者人数,苏菲为其翻译相当行数的诗歌代表作;

    ——第四届“扶正·诗歌隐态文学奖”获奖者:哑默先生

    今天,我代表扶正诗社将第四届“扶正·诗歌奖之隐态文学奖”颁给中国现当代新诗先行者、著名诗人哑默先生。

    所谓”隐态文学”是张嘉谚教授给地下文学、潜在写作、潜流文学、抽屉文学等的综合命名。他的基本依据是中国文化中传统的阴阳观:隐、显,潜流、明流……的对应存在。

    在中国大陆特定的语境、半个多世纪的漫长岁月中,哑默先生坚持自由文化的理想和信念,以创作和社会话动,对中国现当代新诗的开拓和发展作出卓越的贡献。

    对此,海內自由诗坛早有论定。

    民刊《大骚动》的主编王强先生远在一九九0年代初就已明确指出:

    黄翔、哑默所走过的独异的人生历程和文学创作道路,历时半个世纪鲜为人知,这在中国当代文学中实属罕见的现象。他们的作品以各自不同的特色参与当代中国文学和世界文学的有机组成。从他们的作品中我们鲜明地感受到当代中国文化奇特的历史境遇与民族文学命脉潜行的踪迹。

    人类良知永存!文学不朽!

    1950年代哑默先生还是少年时,便开始文学创作,其创作量之巨大、表意能力之强劲、透视与解析力之本质……不但具文学史、思想史、美学史的极大价值,且还原了历史现场,令人叹为观止!

    哑默先生20世纪下半叶以来,坚持自由文化的独立与尊严;以明确的社会责任感与实践,创作出丰厚的文学、社科著作;力挺隐态文学作为文化基脉之道义立场;倡导人文文化素养为核心价值观;用半个多世纪的鲜活记忆、一九六五年以来的全部日记,自边缘旁证了时代和历史的真实面目及客观存在。

    在这里我借用著名新锐评论家摩罗先生在2004年曾给中国大陆隐态文学中俩位重量级诗人予崇高的评价:

    ”他(哑默)和黄翔是在中国西南边陲凌空而起的文学双子星座,他们的才华、文化底蕴、精神高度足以照耀整个中国的诗歌天空。”

    哑默:其人

            原名伍立宪(1942—),贵州省普定县人,曾用过笔名春寒、矛戈、惠尔,1978年12月定为哑默。

            1963年哑默高中毕业于贵阳五中,鉴于当局贯彻“阶级路线”,两次报考大学未果。次年秋,经多方的帮助与种种周折,他终在贵阳市郊野鸭塘的农村小学谋求到一份代课教职。刚下公共汽车,他便看见田野的小山岗上孤独地伫立着一株苍老的檬子树,一阵寞落感顿时充溢心间。以后他就一边认真教育农村孩子,一边不断进行自修。

            远在1956年他就开始投过稿,未被录用;其后“反右斗争”、“文化大革命”漫长岁月中一直拒绝投稿;第一次发表作品是1987年,即一步跨过了三十年!

            在1970年代末的思想启蒙和诗歌运动中,哑默以油印本形式为主,自制过油印本《诗、文学……和未来》(1977.10.)、《草野》(1978.12.21.)、《哑默诗选》(1979.1.)、《野百合》(1979.10.1.)、《心,在跳动》(1980.5.)、《飘散的土地》(1986.10.);历年参与创办、协办过民刊《崛起的一代》(1980.11.)、《现代诗》(1986.10.)、《中国诗歌天体星团》(1986.12.)、《大骚动》(1991.12.)、《零点》(1997.5.)等;在上述大陆民刊及《诗魂》、《现代汉诗》、《独立》等上发布过作品。

            出版过诗、散文诗合集《乡野的礼物》(1990.12.贵州民族出版社)、文著自选本《墙里化石》(1999.12.中国致公出版社)、《见证》(〈美〉 柯捷出版社 2004.)、《暗夜的举火者》(陈思和主编 武汉出版社2006.1.)等。

            哑默对其一生的走向与隐态文学的创作和定位,在其著《长歌如梦》中作了全面的阐述。

            1990年代初他转而进行文化研究。

            自新纪元始,哑默在全国各大中小院校、企事业单位、文化团体举办讲座和进行文化交流。

            但他又自感此前所有的文学、社会活动都是在儒家的范畴内,在深化、厚重的同时,又有必要作一定的突破蕃篱。

            哑默的身上有种亲和力,他一直把自由诗界的文朋诗友们视为故乡的亲人。这是因为他强烈的家园感和对儒家文化中优良部份的高度认同,也与其天性无不有关。

            是故,哑默又以青草、露水、和谐、圆融为其主要标识,也从而注定他一生的走向。

    哑默,远隔太平洋,却在浩瀚时空中共乘一舟一筏,祝福于暮日的光圈中,却相信今生的我们“青春还沒有开始”、“永远走不出生命的童年”、“性情中永不失一颗童心”!!!

    记忆中又出现“野鸭沙龙”,高原峥嵘群山的背景中又见哑默。彼此攀登于同一的人文峰峦,从我们这一代,到身姿各异、头角初露的新生代,在精神生命的攀登中,无地球与外星球、地球東西两半球、東方中囯的南北方的界别,“精神行迹”却“终生越界”!精神探索者置于身后的是“思维定格”和“感官设限”;直面的是宇宙生命中的“未知地带”与“陌生于无解的奥义”!

    精神认知並不决定于“外省与京都”地理空间的位置;不决定“意识形态”圈形的边沿与中心;也不决定于不同文明与文化质别的浅属认知中的“先进与落后”;而决定于其缘起、其菁华、其承传与拓展中的智慧的延伸。文化交流地域越广,相比较中越从中感悟、认知東方“穿越时空的超前思维”与“饱含于辐射的人文精神含金量”。此立论在人类学与生物学意义的现代科技考察与勘测中,其结果已足以令未经人为扭曲与异化的天然生命认知者信服。

    如果中国仅涉足于认知《瓦尔登湖》畔的梭罗,为何却无视“野鸭塘”边的《末世哑默》,而盲目于不同“地理人文”中的“内在质别”?!只能惯性于“自闭”、“自囿”中自我圈禁!仰视于认知不同地域的文明与文化背景上的爱默生,却一生一世无以解知近在咫尺乃至彼此面对的当代独立人文学者张嘉谚、钟鳴、柏华、未满、稚夫及更年轻的王藏、汪剑平们所具的精神潜能,嘉谚名字后的人也同时是前卫诗人,是诗友中具超前冲刺力者!一切由外在与贫于精神认知者定夺!一切以跳不出“崇洋迷外”的惯性思维窠臼者为标杆!不仅在人文领域,仅“民主”与“独裁”的认知与解读也浮浅无知。“民主”非决定于“数人头与选票多寡”,如果选民非具精神认知层次、享有自身社会权利的“公民”而仅仅是受人驾控、且天然属“无脑族”的“蚁民”?其“民主”的结果可想而知?!独裁也並非不可由大智大慧者“独断”与当机立断!爱因斯坦式的智慧,就是“阳光辉煌的独裁”!能由“选票”或“数人头”对其智慧作出定论吗?!“众生平等却智慧悬殊”!!!此立论非“平视東西两半球”中仅仅为今人的个我解悟,相信在古代中囯的“盛世王朝”中亦非史无前例?!这些我在近期的“诗化大赋”中已先后阐述,它们是《大石磬》、《闲情赋》、《大白扇铭》、《诗思奥义》(副题为“走出精神沙漠的‘塔克拉玛干’”)。

    现在,国内一些“群”很引人关注,涌现出如候建刚、康哲、蒋孝良老先生及乡下女匪一类的“精神独立”也敢于“思想峥嵘”者。足以列出的是一长串名字,我这里不一一提及,却不乏从中见出波光闪闪的潮流与时尚中的气象或异象!农夫此举的背景非“宫阙的墙垣”而是“南方的江湖”,地理位置是沿海的琛圳。感觉其中有个庞大的精神队列,行走于开发现代東方精神人文的“丝绸之路”的漫漫长途中!而此举对始于上世纪的“地下文学”或“隐态写作”重新认知、定位与审视也许无异于开先河!今后的研讨、展览、出版、東西方民间文化交流应撞踵而至。希望这个队列中的来自贵州高原上的诗友应互为凝聚而非往昔的散沙。整个遼阔的中原大地也应如此。哑默!哑默!我们天生无争于人于世,却珍视后来者精神空间的开发与天经地义的独立拥有!我辈永远携手排列在这个庞大的人文精神队列的最后一名!力争其始于東方却朝向世界中“前行与位移”!東西两半球不同精神生态中的思维认知、时空观、人文色彩与特征应互补与兼容。東方有東方传之久远的文明与文化菁华,不仅是诗歌、狂草、绘画乃至“行为书写”、“声音书写”的抽象而形而上的艺术综合,在古人“荒崖篆刻”与“粉璧挥毫”之外,出现今人独立创办现当代个体投资的“人文博物馆”。也希望人文意义的東方“星云慱物馆”也涌现于中国大陆的当下。在时不我待中,期望其揭幕之日,我真愿在荒蛮构图的背景上,泼墨于纵横挥毫、任性以狂草书写现代诗赋长卷《大石磬》,越界于東西方“精神的两半球”!从一个中囯人的视角,挑战时至今日的世界金氏记录!此“磬”为東方时空之磬,其无极的深层,昔日相知相守、年长或年轻的诗友哑默、嘉谚、阿门、张凯、展华、郑单衣、龙俊、孙守红、空夏、王强、王刚、王付、孙嘉镭、南鸥至今未谋面的高原人王藏、雷迅、彦一狐、刘彦均与今在深圳的梦亦非和人文“启蒙”当初今生未敢遗忘的几位老友,太多、太多的精神形体纵横藏匿其中!可别忘了立足与建业于南方深圳的农夫及其众多未见面的诗友和艺友们!!!此前在纽约书斋曾与来自国内诗友于坚、吕德安茶叙、並读到徐敬亚相关当代诗史料的论述。最近相晤在纽约有秦准、卢红、赵云虎们,感觉他们视野、思路较时人开阔。赵云虎别开新意,提出当代“经贸与人文相结合”的设想,看最后由谁率先于人、开发出破先例的前景?!祝贺“末世哑默”获扶正诗社“隐态诗歌奖”!也祝福年轻一代的艺友和诗友们!相信你们是一个“体制改革”与“文化强囯”两者“起步于同步”时代的脊樑!欧洲起自意大利的文艺复兴之外,新纪元的今日,必有现代“中囯的文化复兴”!你们是告别此前人文精神浩劫中的“冰河期”的一代,面对的是浩瀚天宇的无垠与遼阔,而绝非重现于惨白日照下的“人文精神”的冰原!!!

    君子喻于义,贺哑默先生得“扶正”诗奖

     

    尊敬的哑默先生,农夫兄弟,以及所有在场的朋友:

    我们今天不是为了热闹而来,为了喝酒而来,或为了表彰谁,而是为了探究一种精神气质,为了一个平凡而又了不起的诗人而来。这位诗人,就是伍立宪——哑默先生。他的了不起,不光因为他写了几百万的文字,成了他自己常常比喻的活化石,一种文化见证,一种我们自己幸存下来的见证,虽然,我们现在,还很难定义这他妈的“文化”,骨子里究竟是个啥玩意,但,这块“化石”却摆了那里。用了我好用的口头禅说,也就是个“老古董”。

    时间会把我们昨天、今天所有的人,都变成老古董。

    作为民间诗坛“老古董”的哑默,是很了不起的,——首先是因为他,奉行了人的文学,奉行了绵延数千年的民间私学,而非官学。如今,他和他的黔地朋友,把这称作“隐态文学”。无论这命名,于过去,完不完善,将来会不会更加丰富,作为一个道理,它都是存在的,而且,应运而生,自有其合理性。

    而为一个道理,穷发皓首,这就是人之为人,最本质的一面。

    几千年前,孔老夫子便说过:君子喻于义。这里的“喻”,不是比喻的意思,而是晓得、明白、理解的意思。“君子喻于义,小人喻于利”。这是广为人知的夫子之言。用了今天的大白话说,便是,正人君子,和小人的区别,便在君子通晓人与社会的各种仁义道理,包含了微观的与宏观的,个人身体的或社会政治的,也就是西方历史学家常言及的合理性和可理解性。历史学、诗学,也只有渗透着合理性与可理解性才会有效。所以,诗学与历史学,最后通向的都是伦理学。这点,是今天,我们在这里理解哑默书写实质最重要的基础。

    要把此框架,细致通俗化为个人行为,往往会让人,穷其一生,通过言行自我践约,也灌输他者。这就是哑默的恒产与恒心。在座的每个人,以及远在它方的患难朋友,都能深刻地了解这内涵,之于诗人哑默,之于后行者,意味着什么。

    哑默先生,从他一开始取了这旷世难忘的笔名,就几乎注定了他的命运。在我读他几乎可说是恣意浩瀚如汪洋的文字以来,最为经典的便是,当年,在他把自己的诗歌稿件,投递给官方的文学刊物时,有愚蠢的编辑,见其笔名,便嘀咕道:“哑默、哑默。呵呵,好吧,那就让你继续哑默吧…….”。注意,这个故事后面的问题,我们应看到,整肃时代也好、集权主义时代也罢,文学管理者,奥威尔所叙的“老大哥”,其实早已渗透各层文化的代理人,包括基层的文人、编辑、出版者等等,也包括了今日消费主义时代的网管。倘若一个社会,只有一个“希特勒”或“墨索里尼”,是不可能织就这天网恢恢的。

    有次,我把哑默厚厚几大册文稿,传给某出版社的编辑看,仅里面偶尔闪现的“共党”一词,便让编辑恍惚以为民国稿件,束手无策。究竟是哑默先生是这时代“冥顽不灵”的笑料,还是这党同伐异的时代,是哑默,也是我们大家的笑料,是尚未弄明白的。

    哑默先生,在他文学中究竟晓以何种价值观,通过此一小事,可以闻见。他所遭遇的扼杀,碰钉子,其实,今天,变换了各种的后现代的花样,人人都可以在日常生活中遭遇。这只能说明,我民社会自戕文化的广泛形成,恰好正是这文明衰没进入晚期的征兆。

    自1963年哑默写下第一首诗,迄今,能发表的,寥寥无几。他的书,也几乎全是没有书号自费出版的。或许,会有人说,难道就不能变通一下吗?——那还用说嘛,我们眼下的社会,一切的反常化,文化的,人性的,族群的,其实,也就是那所谓“变通”的试验场与结果。即便生态的一面,在那广袤的土地,我们几乎连一株干净的植物,也恍若浔阳旧梦,极为难觅。我们再回过头来,读读哑默先生上世纪70年代的诗作《飘散的土地》:

    我从历史没有注明路标的地方找到出口
    走进土地的长眠中
    我是它一个个苦涩的梦境,我是梦里的眼泪和抽泣
    固结在东方
     

    世世代代的思虑
    在我的身上囤积成高大的山峦,灰白、坚硬
    祖辈的头发也是灰白的
    汗水,凝住智慧
    面孔都仰向天空,呆板、硬朗、承受日光
    ……….

    不光是这首长诗,还有他一直到最后写于“野鸭塘”的《元》,几乎他所有的诗篇,都指向一个层面:那就是考索人与自然的关系。人和语言的关系。凡深怀人类良知的符号学家,都曾呼吁各社会的文艺,要回到语言的本质问题上来。恰好这点,如何处理,最终是得噩运,还是善缘,由哑默的启蒙时代到日益追求全球化的今天,都一直是毁灭与存在最基本的问题。哑默亲历了这一毁灭过程。这是今天的词语系统难以言状的。难道我们有人清楚而真实地表达过吗?正因为这点,我们才看清了诗歌与过去和将来的关系,又岂止是文艺玩花招所能解决的现实。哑默的意义,就这点,也未必被认清。

    也许,会有许多的人认为,在都市消费主义替代浪漫主义的时代,人造景观,替代了天体运行,物质主义带来的幻象和修辞紊乱,既剪灭了野鸭塘,也削弱了古典精神,巧言令色的一代接一代,或哑默的诗与诗学,大有沧桑怀旧之感,过于矜持,未能与时俱进…….。如是以来,那么,我们就得在精神层面,语言层面,去解决究竟何谓“新旧”的问题。我们也得回答,诗歌的技术性与思想,现代与传统,究竟是个什么关系?如果,我们能欣赏工业的塑料花,看那些乱七糟八臆造的艺术装置,那么,我们又如何不能看好,野鸭塘边的野草,春水,以及跨世纪坚守贫道的甘苦。或正因为如此,我们才聚集一块,探究那时代与个人,本质不变的东西,“逆向思维”的可贵。历史学家所言的“谨慎的回溯”,在我们稽考哑默的意义时,包括他奇异化的时代和思想氛围,是非常合适的。孔子所言的“哀矜勿喜”,是中国真正意义的知识分子,最爱的座右铭。张爱玲、余英时先生,都曾用过。那么,今天,我也以它来概括哑默的得失与存在。这个诗歌奖,所扶持的正义,由此引来的探讨,也正好与我前面所言“君子喻于义”相吻合,也庶几可谓传统的正名。

    哑默之名,本身,就蕴含了这个层面。“哑”是意识形态压制性社会不得不为之的行为,所以,我们称作“哑巴”,伪装作哑子。哈姆雷特式的。而,默,有二义,默想思考,沉默的大多数。这是格外的一种态度。它代表了冲突,牺牲和另一种声音。多样化的声音。所以,奉了哑默之名,我们是不能当做“无言”来看待的。

    散人题记:以辞名之,而非赋,非颂,大有深意在焉。以余观之,哑默先生不惟乃“世纪的守灵人”,亦不啻时代之寓言大师、预言大师也。辞者,复通卦也。以余观之,哑默诗作何尝不是一种卦辞?“其文约,其辞微,其志洁,其行廉”。

    醉乎山水兮,梦回田园;哑剧盲唱兮,缄默天天!花溪隐居,对月高眠;清雅耿介,寄情骚赋。所谓功名,尽归尘土。惟有长歌,旋响心间。

    嗟夫,皇帝新装眩街衢,焉能使我展酡颜?山雨欲来风满楼,我自转身磨宝剑!汲寒泉,煮嫩茶,岂甘舔菊樊篱边?颈可折,头可断,耻于跋扈庙堂间。不为世用重气节,最惧此生结孽缘。风雪归去早,岁月忽已晚!浮生若转蓬,何苦效媚仙?梦潮待日落,举步伴荒原。如何子不语?伤痛证流年。邃尔起虹雾,河山不忍看。

    呜呼,噫嘻!诗中潜文脉,我心若冰雪。素面对鬼魅,君子笑等闲。守灵为世纪,侧耳听微澜。挥泪祭梅魂,独不著华篇。卦辞陈亦新,人前鲜解签。何必怨霾重,抿茶心陶然。野鸭无踪影,骊歌渐阑珊。游人没芳径,明月正高悬!

    2010年由诗人艺术家农夫先生创办“扶正诗社”以来,举办了多项艺术与诗歌活动。

    2013年设立“扶正诗歌奖”,同年举办了第一届“扶正·独立诗人奖”,获奖者东荡子先生。

    2014年举办了第二届“扶正·诗歌贡献奖”,获奖者黄礼孩先生。

    2015年举办了第三届“扶正·诗歌终身成就奖”,获奖者洛夫先生。

    2016年即将举办“扶正·隐态文学奖”,获奖者哑默先生。

    农夫·其人

    原名杨秀筑,男性公民,六十年代生于贵州贵阳。

    自幼喜爱写写画画,崇尚自由,从未上过专业大学培训,彻底体制之外闲人。

    八十年代末写诗至今,自费出版两本诗集,《农夫与蛇》与《小农意识》(上卷:依然装逼),即将出版诗集《小农意识》(中卷:随时高潮)。

    九十年代初创建民刊《状态》、《大骚动》、《寄身虫》等,作品散见于国内外均有介绍。

    一九九一年辞掉杂志社工作,两手空空独闯深圳,从事平面设计,广告策划,空间建筑等,成立了“深圳班门设计有限公司”与“野生派设计联盟”及“农夫与色SOHO”个人工作室。

    设计作品被报刋转载刋登及散件介绍,一九九七年被韩国最具影响的杂志《设计》一书邀请及书信采访,作品收入介绍中国设计师专辑。

    同年创意包装设计荣获“第二届国际专利设计”金奖,并在《深圳卫视》有专访及播放。

    两千年建立了私人会所“一青茗舍”(深圳南山)与“秀芳堂”(东莞黄江)、二千一零年创建”扶正诗社”并设立了”扶正诗歌奖”,已在大陆举办了三届诗歌奖项,同时介入有关艺术策划及举办人文活动品种多项。现定居深圳与东莞两地。

    在当代中国先锋诗歌现场,东荡子的重要性水落石出。鉴于他对人类孤独处境的揭示及精神出路的探寻诸方面所做出的努力和成果,让我们有理由肯定:他既是艺术丛林披荆斩棘的勇士,又是人类自由的捍卫者。

    他的诗体现了语言艺术和宗教性的道德感,而毫无雕琢感和说教口吻。他善于从司空见惯的日常经验中结晶诗意,并有能力提升到形而上乃至人类普遍经验的高度,这使得他的诗既具有人间烟火的气息,又能坚决地摆脱一地鸡毛般的日常生活之泥淖,而像飞鸟奋力扑向开阔而澄明的自由天空。

    东荡子的诗是一个巨大的象征和隐喻系统,涌现出启示性、虔诚的祈祷和甜蜜的洞见。由于其对世界秘密、人性幽深及艺术奥妙的领悟,使他从不纠缠于事物或理念,总是直取核心。他以其精确如数学、清澈如水晶的诗句,以自然而神秘的方式揭示了世界的秘密,从而打破了形式上的封闭性,出现了源头式的开放性及多种阐释的可能。

    东荡子的诗句既简洁又神秘,既直白又高深。其中充满音乐性的抒情和玄学化的思维使其诗具有一种祈祷诗的效果和斧劈木柴的力量。东荡子以其无法替代的写作表明,文学仍然是想象力、心灵感觉和精神自由的世界。

    东荡子:

    本名吴波。

    1964年10月生于湖南沅江市东荡村。木匠世家。高中不到一年,便服役于安徽蚌埠某部,后代课,经商、做记者、编辑等,干过十数种短暂职业。截至2005年10年间在深圳、广州、长沙、益阳等地工作或闲居。

    2005年始任《增城日报》副刊编辑,中国作家协会会员。

    1987年开始写诗,立足消除黑暗,理想诗人结合。

    2002年与世宾、黄礼孩等友人提出完整性写作理念。

    2006年获《诗选刊》·中国年度最佳诗歌奖。

    2010年,获第十八届“柔刚诗歌奖”。

    2013年4月,获《芳草》杂志“第三届汉语诗歌双年十佳”。

    2013年5月,获第八届《诗歌与人》主办的“诗歌与人·诗人奖”。

    2013年6月,获第一届《扶正诗社》“扶正·独立诗人奖”。

    2013年7月,获第九届广东鲁迅文学艺术奖(文学类)。

     

    注:写下“九月初十/这是我的生日/我还要选择它/作为我的末日”的诗人东荡子,在49岁生日前心脏病突发去世离开了人间。

    本届诗歌奖贡献奖奖给中国诗人黄礼孩,是基于黄礼孩在诗歌创作和推动新世纪以来诗歌的发展所做出的杰出贡献。

    黄礼孩的诗歌是从他的信仰和对这世界的信任、爱意里散发出来的;无论这世界饱受着怎样的摧残,时代施与个人怎样的压力,他都保持着美好的期待和无怨的馈赠。他的诗歌温润、祥和、宁静,字句中饱蘸着从土地里生长出来的绵厚、喜悦和清澈,像树林里早晨垂挂着露珠的叶子。我们所处的时代是一个政治挤压和赢利诱惑极其强烈的时代,众多的诗歌采取了解构的策略和在夹缝中诉说个人的权利的方法,来维护诗歌的尊严;而黄礼孩却从策略性和个人化的写作中抽身出来,在一个自由和自足的维度重塑人的形象,并以此面对他周遭的世界。在他的诗歌里,他看到了世界的残缺、苦难和不平,但他放弃了暴虐,保留了仁爱;他放弃了对抗,保留了和解;他放弃了狭隘,保留了宽阔。他的诗歌不是与现实对抗的产物,而是对世界怀着希望的产物,他的诗歌为残憾的现实增加了一个新维度一个被时代的戾气所遗忘所遮蔽的善良友爱的维度;他通过对朴素、美好的事物的歌唱,重建了一个柔软、饱含着爱的世界。

    正如他的诗歌一样,黄礼孩尽自己的微薄之力,维护着生活中存在的美好。他为人谦逊,团结了一大批国内外诗人;他办《诗歌与人》、《中西诗歌》,推出了“70后”、“中间代”、“完整性写作”、“女性诗歌”等等具有影响力的诗歌现象和流派;他连续九年举办了饱受好评的国际诗歌奖“诗歌与人国际诗歌奖”;他力所能及地在广州举办各种文化活动,使更广泛的人群参与到诗歌和艺术的活动中来。在诗歌界,黄礼孩以他的诗歌平台和审美的准则,影响了一大批年轻诗人;在社会,通过他的努力,使人们对诗歌保持了一份敬意,一份美好的想象。

    “没有任何时刻比现在更为严肃!”

    现在由我代表“扶正诗社”宣读第三届“扶正诗歌奖” 授奖词!

    经评委的审议和磋商,决定授予诗人洛夫先生诗歌“终身成就奖”。这一决定取决于洛夫先生“诗歌创作七十年”来的成就,以及在当下汉语诗歌的持续影响和生命活力,启示了我们对诗歌的仰望和对生命的热爱。

    诗人洛夫先生的诗歌创作之独特性在于,在汉语新诗的“创世纪”性的启蒙运动中,始终站在历史变迁的潮头,以其先锋性、敏锐性和时代性特征,创作了各不同时期的典范性的诗歌作品及理论文本,为诗坛展示了一个诗人的整体建构和风貌,以此赢得了国际性广泛的肯定和尊重,为汉语的世界性体系做出了杰出的贡献。洛夫先生在晚年创作的(二零零一年)三千多行长诗《漂木》的出版获得诺贝尔文学奖提名,再次震惊世界华语诗坛。

    洛夫先生乃中国新诗的超现实主义的代表人物,其代表作《石室之死亡》,他出色和娴熟的驾驭诗歌语言的能力近乎魔幻,被诗坛誉为“诗魔”。从明朗到艰涩,又从艰涩返回明朗,诗人在自我否定与肯定的追求中,表现出惊人的韧性,他对语言的锤炼,意象的营造,及从现实中发掘超现实的诗性哲理,奠定了其独特的风格,其世界之广阔、思想之深致、表现手法之繁复多变,无出其右者。

    自《魔歌》以后,风格渐渐转变,由繁复趋于简洁,由激动趋于静观,师承古典而落实生活,成熟之艺术已臻虚实相生,动静皆宜之境地。他的诗直探万物之本质,穷究生命之意义。

    作为耆老之年的洛夫先先,仍然诗性不减,以传统召唤的血液,回望和展望于两个世纪的独立思考,而致力于汉语圆通的世界性交流与合作,行走于东西方的民间土壤生态,写下极具东方神韵的当代禅诗,使得汉语作为一门文化力量,在世界确立了普世价值的东方精神。显然,我们的奖项由纯粹的民间友谊和诗性自觉而形成,并不具有所谓的最高学术权威,或金钱至上的喧哗,而是基于一个诗人,对另一个诗人的伟大的尊重和师学友谊。因为,洛夫先生的大道从容而来的世纪诗心,才是我们共同分享人类的生命未来,不受苦难抗争和心灵黑暗的压迫而获得自我的救赎。

    洛夫:其人

    洛夫(莫洛夫、莫运端),1928年5月11日出生,1938年举家从乡下迁居衡阳市石鼓区大西门痘姆街,就读国民中心小学。

    1943年进入成章中学初中部,以野叟笔名在《力报》副刊发表第一篇散文《秋日的庭院》。

    1946年转入岳云中学,开始新诗创作,以处女诗作《秋风》展露才情。

    1947年转入含章中学,与同学组成芙兰芝剧社和芙兰芝艺术研究社,自编自演进步节目。

    1949年7月去台湾,后毕业于淡江大学英文系,

    1996年从台湾迁居加拿大温哥华。国际著名诗人、世界华语诗坛泰斗、诺贝尔文学奖提名者、台湾最著名的现代诗人,被诗歌界誉为“诗魔”。现聘任北京师范大学、中国华侨大学、衡阳廻雁诗社名誉社长。

    一、苏菲诗歌翻译的前提:

    1、必须是苏菲本人喜欢的诗歌作品;
    2、不在纸质刊物发表、出版以及参加诗歌节活动的单首诗歌和诗歌集一概不翻译;
    3、不签订出版合同的诗歌集不翻译;
    4、不签翻译家姓名的任何作品不翻译;
    5、不尊重翻译家,讨价还价的不翻译;
    6、先付翻译费后翻译;
    7、苏菲个人主编的诗歌选集和诗歌翻译报刊,如有赞助,翻译费另行商议。

     

     

    二、苏菲诗歌翻译合作模式

    1、直接支付翻译费用或赞助翻译费(具体收费见下表);
    2、苏菲英语讲坛招生资源互换:如果诗人在当地有一定的社会招生资源,依据实际所招缴费的英语学习者人数,苏菲为其翻译相当行数的诗歌代表作;

        国内文学界“走出去”的呼声不断,越来越多的中国诗人,已渐渐不满足于出版中文版诗集、在汉语圈内的诗歌交流,他们想要成为国际性诗人,希望能在国外出版自己的诗集,有机会与国外诗人们进行交流。自然,这些汉语诗人诗歌作品的翻译,就成为一个迫切而重要的课题。目前,国内汉语诗歌的翻译工作方兴未艾,而专业从事这个行业的国内翻译家却寥若晨星。——英汉双语诗人苏菲,就是中国诗歌翻译界的一朵“奇葩”。
     

    苏菲:中国诗歌翻译界飙出的一匹“黑马”



        中国诗坛,很多女诗人都曾引起人们的高度关注,比如80年代的舒婷,去年飙红的余秀华等。但她们都是用汉语写作,极少听说有中国人用英语写诗且专门从事汉译英诗歌翻译的。女诗人苏菲,就是这样一位与众不同的诗人兼翻译家。

        2013年5月,著名诗人东荡子获得广东诗人黄礼孩设立的“诗歌与人·诗人奖”,苏菲对该次颁奖特别印制的册子前言、颁奖词、授奖词等的精准翻译,首先引起了广东诗人、诗评家的关注。苏菲首次引起媒体关注,是在2013年底应邀出席的“独山传奇”首届贵州诗歌节,当时,《贵州民族报》(《民族文学》周刊)高端访谈栏目,以《苏菲:“中国诗歌的对外翻译严重滞后”》为标题整版报道了苏菲的诗歌创作与翻译。2014年苏菲应邀出席“春山凤鸣”广州第五届女诗人朗诵会,她以标准流利的BBC英语和婉转优美的英文朗诵震惊全场,展示了英语诗歌与英语朗诵不同于汉语诗歌的瑰丽色彩,当时的英文诗歌朗诵在网络迅速流传,其中单单两个在酷6网上传的朗诵视频播放量合计就高达60多万次(据百度视频统计)。2014年8月,广东《信息时报》读书栏目,以《苏菲:从朗诵进入诗歌天地》整版篇幅采访了苏菲,大陆及海外超过150家媒体,包括中国社科院网、中国新闻网、新浪网、凤凰新闻网、台湾新闻网等转载。2014年10月,苏菲应邀出席第二届两岸西方翻译理论再思/批判暨“翻译中国”学术研讨会、全国翻译哲学暨首届翻译与诗学研讨会、首届中国(宝安)国际诗歌论坛暨名家诗歌讲座,以及2015年北岛主持的“香港国际诗歌之夜”等,在国内翻译学术界和国际诗歌论坛斩露头角。2015年12月,苏菲受邀担任首届“DCC杯”全球华人诗歌大奖赛评委并参加系列活动,并通过她创办的“苏菲诗歌&翻译网”传播平台,第一时间向国内外发布了大奖赛的颁奖实况,各地华语文化媒体纷至沓来,该新闻页面当天的浏览量就高达2000余次。

        出生于秦岭南麓、毕业于西安外国语大学英文学院的苏菲,现在是“苏菲诗歌&翻译网”主编、中国翻译协会会员、国际诗歌翻译研究中心研究员,同时是目前全球唯一一份以多种语言对照出版的国际性诗刊——混语版《世界诗人》季刊的客座总编。苏菲在从事高校英语教学之余,一边为该杂志定期翻译提供英汉或汉英翻译诗稿,一边专注于翻译有意在海外出版的华语诗人诗集。目前,苏菲已经把国内六位诗人的汉语诗歌集翻译成英语,汉英对照出版,为中国和世界100多位知名诗人翻译过代表性诗歌作品,并参与汉英读本《中国新诗300首(1917—2012)》作品的英译及全书英文校对,负责审译纯英文版《世界诗歌年鉴2013》、《世界诗歌年鉴2014》等。
     

    诗歌翻译与推广传播一体化的最初尝试

     

       莫言获得诺贝尔文学奖,为国人打开了一扇世界的窗户。但长期以来,由于中外语言沟通的障碍,中国官方的文坛诗界还没有建立起有力的国际交流机制和有效的国际传播渠道,民间的国际翻译更如零星雨点。

        苏菲深切地感受到翻译必须和传播相结合,也深切理解数以百万计的中国作家与诗人在对外推广和传播方面的困惑和焦灼。为了致力于中国优秀诗歌的翻译与国际化推广,同时致力于国际优秀诗歌的翻译与传播交流,苏菲创办了中国首家英汉对照个人诗歌翻译网——“苏菲诗歌&翻译网”(http://www.sophypoetry.com),2014年10月汉语版首先上线,2016年3月网站经改版建立了英文版、英汉对照版,名副其实成为中国首家由翻译家个人主办的国际诗歌翻译网。目前网站在谷歌的搜索抓取量达上万条,百度的搜索几千条,最高日访问量达到3000余次,单篇文章累计阅览量最高达近5000次。网站已推出以梅丹理、张智中、张智等为代表的中外著名翻译家和以杨克、伊沙、潇潇为代表的中国著名诗人。苏菲花了大量时间进行网站内容编辑,陆续将翻译的国内外知名诗人的诗歌作品上传,通过分享到国际诗歌社区进行广泛推广,还通过上传翻译作品和原创英文诗歌到全球各诗歌门户网站进行传播和互动交流,均取得了显著成效。

        目前在大陆以外,苏菲诗歌&翻译网和英语诗人苏菲在国际诗歌社区的影响力日渐彰显。印度圣乔治大学MuteMelodist学术艺术网和《澳门月刊》全文刊发了对苏菲诗歌&翻译网和翻译家苏菲的整体介绍,前者的网站首页还做了链接,苏菲陆续收到不少来自国际诗歌团体和著名诗刊、诗人的约稿函,如苏菲的英语诗歌《面对恐怖主义,诗歌是一无是处的是处》就曾入选POETRY AGAINST TERROR《反恐诗歌》2016意大利全球诗歌选本。同时,以苏菲诗歌翻译网和翻译家苏菲为纽带,目前已整合了国外包括韩语、阿拉伯语、孟加拉语、意大利语、法语等多语种诗歌翻译家,准备一起翻译(或转译)、推介更多中国诗人的优秀作品。

        苏菲所做的这一切,只是出于对中国诗歌的一份责任感和使命感,而做的翻译与传播一体化的有益尝试。对于海内外数量庞大的华语诗人群体和每天数以百万计的原创诗歌数量来说,只能是沧海之一粟,更集中、更广泛、更有成效的中国诗歌翻译和传播,正等待更多的中国诗歌翻译家和国际化团体参与。
     

    中国诗歌“走出去”:不能只依赖外国翻译家!



        对于中国当代诗歌“走出去”,苏菲有自己的认识。长期以来,中国古典文学,一直被看作是中国文化的精髓,甚至连德国的歌德、美国的庞德,都曾将目光转向了中国,那个时候被译介的诗词是古典文学中的精粹。中国经历了“五四”,在大量译介西方先进的思想与文学著作的过程中,新诗才蹒跚学步慢慢地成长起来;而现在经历了百年发展,当代优秀新诗,作为中国文学最成熟的部分,已经积累了蕴涵丰厚的思想内容,文化辐射力无可限量,因此有理由积极推广,让全世界的读者及时欣赏到璀璨的中国现当代诗歌文明。

        “现在越来越多的老外也想要及时了解中国文化,而当代诗歌,是继莫言获诺奖‘中国文学热’以来,除小说以外最吸引全球读者的文学体裁。”目前中国诗歌的对外翻译严重滞后。虽说近年来诗歌对外翻译有上升的趋势,可是相对中国目前经济、社会、文化的发展现状和诗歌自身的传播交流趋势来说,是严重滞后的。苏菲说,中国诗歌要走出去,中国翻译家首先要建立诗歌英译的坚定信心。中国翻译家要承担起诗歌翻译的重任,而不应该仅仅把希望寄托在外国翻译家的身上。她认为,中国诗歌,文学乃至文化首先要中国人自己来推广和弘扬。只有中国人才对自己的文字、文化理解的最透彻,翻译的最到位。她说,她曾经看过不少国外著名翻译家的翻译文本,对照中文原文后,照样挑出了很多误译和瑕疵,因此她认为,“外国翻译家也不一定靠得住!”。苏菲的言语如此自信、简单和直截。

        不过,苏菲并不是一个自负的人。她知道再好的翻译家,瑕疵和疏漏也在所难免,因此在翻译完一些文稿之后,她都会找一些高校同行、业内翻译家来纠正自己的翻译错漏,而且经常为他们找不出自己的毛病而茶饭不思。
     

    从热爱外语到双语诗人、双语诗歌翻译家



        一般我们都认为,诗歌不可译,因为不同的语言之间有不同的文化背景和语言习惯差异。而苏菲却用自己的亲身经历告诉我们,中西方的文化背景、思维和语言习惯不是不可以超越的。

        大部分中国人一听说学习外语,马上头脑发懵,而苏菲却不是这样。“英语简直就是上帝的语言,太美了!”她热爱外语,完全出于对异国语言和文化魅力的由衷叹服,使她不能自拔。苏菲透露,她学外语的“秘诀”,就是忘掉自己的母语汉语,而完全把外语当成“母语”来学。上大学的时候,她曾经天天在西安外国语大学国花园背诵优美的英语篇章,从最基础的《新概念英语》到英语小说、再到英语诗歌。平时的话,从早上6点一直读到上课,寒暑假就一直读到12点,从未间断。为了能说一口比准流利的BBC 英语,一条BBC英语新闻,苏菲往往会跟读模仿上千次。

        大学期间她通读了大量的英文原著,经常让自己变成原著中的主人公,随之喜也随之哀,让自己完全沉浸到英语的语感中,异域的文化隔阂在她的身上渐渐消弭。她还重点颂读了一批英文诗歌,比如华兹华斯的诗全集、莎士比亚的十四行诗、惠特曼的诗等,她不允许她身边的朋友们说汉语,甚至有意规避中文的书刊杂志。这样坚持了几年,使她成为能直接使用英语来思考和创作的人。情急之下或灵感乍来,她心里冒出来的往往是英语而不是汉语。

        热爱是最好的老师,给苏菲带来无尽的生命乐趣。她说,学习外语到一定程度,当她在欣赏英语文学作品,或读到一首优美的诗歌的时候,赞叹和享受语言优美的同时,便会爆发出一种要去转化成汉语的强烈冲动,后来她在读汉语文学作品或诗歌时,也同样有这样的翻译冲动。她走上诗歌翻译道路,纯属对自然、对语言之美和诗歌艺术的内心崇仰。

        一般来说,诗歌翻译是所有文学类别中最难的。如果译者是一位诗人,翻译的质量通常会高于非诗人的翻译。如何消除译入语和译出语之间的隔阂,苏菲的体会是,只有你能写诗并且写得不太差,才能将诗歌翻译好,否则很难真正把握诗歌的语言,当然——如果你能同时用两门语言进行创作,最好不过。苏菲就是一位自己既写诗又做翻译的诗人,而且相对于汉语诗歌创作,她更加拿手的还是英语诗歌。

        苏菲从初一开始接触到诗歌,就被诗歌纯美的魅力所吸引,无论古诗还是新诗都背得滚瓜烂熟,并懵懂地写下了第一首诗。后来上大学,因为是学英语,经常在朗读诗歌或其它作品的时候,被英语语言优美的音色和婉转的韵律所打动。现在,她写的诗歌中有多半都是英文诗歌。苏菲花了很长时间研究英语十四行诗和三俳句的格律,终于创作出了押韵和谐的英语十四行诗和意蕴无限的英语三俳句。现在她会总结那些经典的欧美英文诗和自己所写的英文诗之间的差别,还会拿不同时代、不同作者的英文诗作比较,“因为现在自己也写了很多风格相似的诗歌作品,体会更深刻”。

        对比诗歌原创和诗歌翻译,苏菲最看重的还是诗歌原创,她认为,没有诗歌原创就没有诗歌翻译。学习外语以来,苏菲写汉语诗歌相对少些,这几年,她创作了不少汉语诗歌,逐渐找回了汉语诗歌原创的感觉,这使她的汉译更加精准和完美;同时,她还经常尝试把自己的英语原创诗歌翻译成汉语,又把汉语原创诗歌翻译成英语,在两门语言原创和转译过程中,深刻体验到两门语言创作的奥妙和它们之间的细微差别。
     

    英语教育产业化助推中国诗歌国际化


     
       大家都知道,诗集翻译出来如果不出版、面市,而只是在网站、微信传播,在现在官方体制内的人看来,恐怕是“小搞搞”,难以登大雅之堂,也无法给进一步的国际交流与合作提供可供参照的资源范本。因此,苏菲自翻译出版了六本中国诗人的诗歌集和零星翻译了不少中国和国际代表诗人的代表作之后,就自然萌生了在国际市场上出版、推广中国诗人合集和国际诗人合集的想法。只有走上翻译、出版、发行、传播一体化的“集成”路线,中国的文学诗歌才能在国际舞台上真正找到立足之地。对于这一点,苏菲在多年与国内外诗人们的交流中深有感悟。而目前,国内除了最权威的官方诗歌选集,最著名的诗人如北岛、海子、舒婷及学院派的一批当代诗人和徐志摩、戴望舒等一批现代诗人之外,个人诗集、年度合编集几乎全部都是自费或找赞助才能出版的。面对诗歌不景气、被边缘化的现实生态,对于一个只靠几千元工资生活的翻译家来说,想要自己推出国内诗人的英译合集或国际选本,即使组稿、翻译不成问题,最大的难题莫过于出版经费问题。

        而除了诗歌翻译,苏菲的另一重身份是英语教师,每周都会去大学轻轻松松地上课、轻轻松松地下课。 她曾经讲过几百人的雅思、托福课,也曾一对一辅导过雅思、托福、考研及高考学生,让他们重新找回英语学习的信心,在短时期内增进英语学习能力,快速提升英语成绩,甚至将原本高考模拟考试50多分的学生,临近高考30天时间,经过苏菲系统辅导,学生高考轻松突破120分。现在她雅思托福的学生大多都在国外毕业了。学生们对苏菲最大的评价是:跟苏菲学习英语最值得骄傲的是,让自己建立了英语学习的自信心,打开了英语语言神秘的大门,对自己的人生起到深远的影响。

        原本,这算得上苏菲美好的英语教学经历,在她从事诗歌翻译后,便戛然而止了。除了上完学校规定的英语课之外,便没有再教授其他同学。因为她觉得,诗歌翻译是高度挑战性的事情,必须要全力以赴才能做好,而不能分心。如果不是因为她谋划的《中国新诗英译年鉴》(暂定名)一直无法筹到赞助出版资金,她可能永远不会往发挥自己英语教育这个天赋上来做文章。

      “Translator Sophy Chen: To Promote Chinese Poetry Internationalization By English Education”

    Abstract: Art & Life Section, (semimonthly, June 2016), “Cultural Monthly”, directed by the Chinese Ministry of Culture, published a long article written by Chinese poet Dazang “Translator Sophy Chen: To Promote Chinese Poetry Internationalization by English Education”. Firstly, with the point of view of a culture observer, it reviewed the periodic process of poetry translation, and international poetry spread of Chinese poetry translator Sophy (Sophy Chen), it focused, quoted and expounded her concepts and ideas on Chinese poetry translation and poetry propagation, and it recalled her personal growth process from love foreign languages to a bilingual poetess and a bilingual poetry translator; combined with the current status of Chinese poetry collection’s translation, publication and circulation in the international arena, Sophy Chen, as a translator from her personal services in Chinese poetry, literary and artistic works’ international translation and promotion, made a practical and ambitious idea to promote Chinese poetry internationalization by English education.

    By the continuing voice of “going out” in Chinese literary circles, more and more Chinese poets gradually have not been satisfied with publishing their poetry anthologies in Chinese version, to exchange their ideas in Chinese poetry circles, because they want to be the international poets, wish to publish their own poetry anthologies abroad, and have some opportunities to communicate with foreign poets. Naturally, the poetry translation of these Chinese poets has become an urgent and important issue. So far, the translation work of Chinese poetry in main land of China is in the ascendant, however the professional translators in this profession are very few. — the C-E or E-C bilingual poetess, Sophy Chen, is a “wonderful flower” in the Chinese poetry translation field.
    Sophy Chen: A “Black Horse” Soaring out of Chinese Poetry Translation Profession
    In Chinese literary circles, many poetesses have aroused a lot of people’s attention, such as Shu Ting in 1980s, and Yu Xiuhua soared popularly last year, and etc. However they’ve written poetry in Chinese language, so we Chinese people rarely heard that a Chinese person has written poetry in English language and specialized in C-E or E-C Poetry Translation. The poetess, Sophy Chen, is such a unique poetess and poetry translator.
    In May 2013, the famous Chinese poet Dong Dangzi, got the poetry award “Poetry & People • Poet Award” established by Guangdong poet Huang Lihai, the specially printed booklet of its prize presentation, such as its preface, awards words and prize words translated accurately by Sophy Chen which first aroused Guangdong poets and poetry critic’s attention. Sophy Chen first attracted media’s attention was the “Dushan Legend” of the First Guizhou Poetry Festival in which she was invited to attend as a translator in late 2013, at the same time, the Top Interview Column of the “Guizhou Nation Newspaper” (“National Literature” Weekly), reported of Sophy Chen’s poetry and her poetry translation in the full-page of its first page as the title “Sophy Chen: the Chinese Poetry Translation Into Foreign languages Is Seriously Lagging Behind. In 2014 Sophy Chen was invited to attend the “Phoenix Singing in Spring Hill”, the Fifth Guangzhou Poetess Readings, her standard, fluent BBC English and beautiful, mellow and full English recitation shocked the audience, which showed the different magnificent color of English poetry and its recitation from the Chinese Poetry, and which was quickly spread in the network, and where its amount of video playback was up to 60 million times in total (according to Baidu video statistics), only two video recitation in Cool 6. In August 2014, the Reading Section of Guangdong “Information Times” interviewed with Sophy Chen, in a full-page, by the title: “Sophy Chen: From the Poetry Readings to Going into the Poetry World”, which was reprinted more than 150 media in mainland and overseas, including the website of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the China News, Sina.com, Phoenix News, and Taiwan News, etc. She emerged in the mainland poetry translation academia and international poetry forum. In October 2014, she was invited to attend the Second Taiwan, Mainland, and Western Translation Theory / Criticism & “Translating China” Symposium, the National Translation Philosophy & the First Translation and Poetry Symposium, and the First (Baoan) China International Poetry Forum & Famous Poets’ Lectures, as well as the “Hong Kong International Poetry Night” held by poet Beidao, in 2015, etc. In December 2015, she was invited to serve as the jury of the first “DCC Cup” Global Chinese Poetry Contest and to participate in a series of its activities, and she also was invited to issue the awards live to mainland of China and overseas for the first time, through her founded communication platform “Sophy Poetry & Translation Website”, which the local Chinese culture media reprinted it in flocks and on the first day in this news page views reached more than 2,000 times.
    Born at the southern foot of Qinling Mountains, and graduated from the English Department of Xi’an International Studies University, Sophy Chen now is the editor-in-chief of “Sophy Poetry & Translation Website”, the member of Chinese Translation Association, and the Researcher of International Poetry Translation & Research Centre, as well as the guest editor of Multilingual Version “World Poets” Quarterly which is the only one international poetry magazine published in mixed languages. In her free time after her college English teaching, on the one side she provides E-C or C-E translation poems for the magazine regularly, on the other side she focuses on translating poetry of Chinese poets who are willing to publish their poetry collections overseas. At the present, Sophy Chen has translated six Chinese poetry collections of Chinese poets into English, published them in Chinese-English version and has translated more than 100 well-known poets’ master pieces of China and other nations, and also was invited to translate and do the English proofreading of the whole book Chinese-English Reader “Chinese Modern Poetry 300 (1917-2012) and the translation correction of “World Poetry Yearbook 2013”, “World Poetry Yearbook 2014” in English version and so on.
    The Initial Attempts of Integration of Poetry Translation and Promotion
    Mo Yan won the Nobel Literature Prize, which opened a window to the world for Chinese people. However, for a long time, due to the communication barriers of Chinese and foreign languages, the Chinese official literary and poetry circles have not established the strong international exchange mechanisms and effective international communication channels, so the private international translation is more like the sporadic raindrops.
    Sophy Chen has deeply experienced that translation must combine with dissemination and she has also deeply understood the confusion and anxiety of millions of Chinese writers and poets in the process of their works promotion and dissemination. In an effort to translate the excellent Chinese poetry and promote its internationalization, at the same time, commit to the translation, dissemination and exchange of the international outstanding poetry, Sophy Chen founded the first English-Chinese poetry translation website personally in China — “Sophy Poetry & Translation Website” (http://www.sophypoetry.com), and its Chinese version website was first on-line in October, 2014, and in March 2016 it was established a website by the revision in English, and English-Chinese version, which was truly transformed into China’s first personal sponsored international poetry translation website. At the present, its Google’s search has amounted to ten thousands of pieces, Baidu’s search thousands of pieces, its highest daily reading has reached more than 3,000 times, and a single article viewed cumulative amount has been up to nearly 5,000 times. It has been launched as the representative of Chinese and overseas’ well-known translators such as Danis Mair, Zhang Zhizhong and Zhang Zhi, and the representative of Chinese famous poets as Yangke, YISHA and Xiaoxiao. Sophy Chen spent a lot of time for its content editing, successively uploaded the translation works of famous Chinese and overseas’ poets, widely shared them by the international community of poetry, and also uploaded the translated works and her original English poetry to poetry portals around the world for communication and interaction, which have achieved remarkable effects.
    Outside of main land of China at present, Sophy Poetry & Translation Website and English poetess Sophy Chen have grown their manifest influence in the international poetry community. MuteMelodist academic art website of St. George University of India and Macao Monthly have published the articles on Sophy Chen and Sophy Poetry & Translation Website in the full text, the former one also made links on its homepage, and Sophy Chen have gradually received many poetry contribution letters from some international organizations, well-known poetry magazines, and the poets, such as Sophy’s English poetry, Faced with Terrorism, Poetry Is Nothings’ Nothing had been selected into “POETRY AGAINST TERROR”, 2016 Italian global poetry anthology. Meanwhile, by the link of Sophy Poetry & Translation Website and translator Sophy Chen now have incorporated the mainland and abroad translators, including Korean, Arabic, Bengali, Italian, French and other multilingual poetry translators, which are ready to translate and recommend more outstanding works of Chinese poets.
    All of this Sophy Chen did, that is just to have a useful attempt to the integration of translation and dissemination with a sense of responsibility and mission of Chinese poetry. For the huge number of overseas and Chinese poets’ groups and the millions of original poetry every day, this is the only a drop of water in the sea, the more focused, extensive and effective dissemination and translation of Chinese poetry are awaiting more Chinese poetry translators and international groups to involve.
    Chinese Poetry “Going out”: We Can Not Just Rely on Foreign Translators!
    For the Chinese Modern Poetry “going out”, Sophy Chen has her own understanding. For a long time, Chinese classical literature has been regarded as the essence of Chinese culture, and even Goethe, Germany, Pound, the United States, had turned their eyes to China, and at that time the poetry translation was the essence of classical literature. In the process of translation, a large number of advanced Western thoughts and literature, experienced the “May Fourth Movement” the Chinese Modern Poetry has been growing up slowly as a toddler; now going through a century of development, the outstanding Contemporary Modern Poetry, as the most mature literature part of China, has accumulated the rich implication of ideological content and its cultural radiation is limitless, so it is reasonable to promote it actively, and make the readers around the world timely enjoy the splendid Chinese contemporary poetry civilization.
    “Now more and more foreigners also want to keep abreast of the Chinese culture, and the Chinese contemporary poetry, in addition to the fiction, is the most audience attractive global literary genre.” since “Chinese Literature Hot” following by Mo Yan won the Nobel Prize. So far, Chinese Poetry translation is seriously lagging behind. Although in recent years, the translation of
    Chinese poetry into foreign languages is on the rise, by contrast of current trends of economic, social, cultural development of China and communication and exchanges of poetry, it is seriously lagging behind. Sophy Chen said that if the Chinese poetry wants to go out, the Chinese translators must establish confidence to translate Chinese poetry into English, and the Chinese translators should assume the task of poetry translation rather than only put hopes on foreign translators. She believes that Chinese poetry, literature and even culture first should be promoted and carried forward by Chinese people themselves. Only Chinese people can understand our own cultural the most thoroughly and translate it the most perfectly. She said that she had read a lot of famous foreign translators’ translation text, after making a comparison with its original Chinese text, she still picked out a lot of mistranslation and blemishes, so she believes that “foreign translators are not necessarily reliable!” Her words are so confident, simple and straightforward.
    However, Sophy Chen is not a conceited person. She knows that even the best translator, whose defects and omissions are inevitable in their translation works, so after completing some translation documents, she will find some universities’ peers, and fellow translators to correct their mistakes, and she often can not eat anything for they can not find their defects.
    From Love Foreign Languages to Be a Bilingual Poetess and Bilingual Poetry Translator
    Generally, we believe that poetry can not be translated, because there are different cultural background and language habits between different languages. But Sophy Chen has told us by her own personal experience that Chinese and Western cultures, thoughts and habits of languages are beyond.
    When most Chinese people heard that they need to learn a foreign language, they are immediately muddled in their mind, but Sophy Chen is totally different. “English is God’s language really, so beautiful!” She loves the foreign language that is completely because she has sincerely appreciated the charm of foreign languages and their cultural, which made her not escaped. Sophy Chen revealed that her “secret” to learn foreign languages is to forget her native language, Chinese, and to learn the foreign language completely as her “mother tongue”. In college, she had recited some beautiful English articles every day in the National Garden of Xi’an International Studies University, from the most fundamental English, “New Concept English” to novels, and to English poetry. Usually, from 6 am to class to be ready, in summer or winter vacation she’d been read to 12 am, and she’d never stopped to do so. To be able to speak English nicely and fluently as BBC, a piece of BBC English news, Sophy Chen often would imitate and repeat a thousand times.
    During college she read a lot of English original works, she often regards herself as its original heroine, along with to be happy and to be sad, and she completely immersed herself in the English language sense, which gradually eliminated the exotic cultural barriers in her body. She also focused on reading a number of English poetry, such as poems of William Wordsworth, Shakespeare’s sonnets, Whitman’s poems, etc., she did not allow her friends say Chinese, even deliberately circumvent Chinese books and magazines. Being insisted on it for a few years, it made her a person who could directly think in English and write in English. In a moment of her inspiration or desperation, what came out of her mind often is English rather than Chinese.
    Love is the best teacher, which gives Sophy Chen endless fun of life. She said that after she had learned a foreign language to a certain extent, when she was appreciating of an English work, or reading a beautiful poem, praising and enjoying the beautiful language, at the same time, it would erupt into a kind of strong urge to transform them into Chinese, and later when she read Chinese works or poetry, she also had such impulses. She started going on the road of poetry translation, it is purely because she enshrines natural, beauty of language and art of poetry in her heart.
    In general, poetry translation is the most difficult style in all literature. If a translator is a poet, his translation quality is generally higher than the non poet translator. How to bridge the gap between the target language and translated language, Sophy Chen’s experience is that only you can write poetry, not so bad, can you translate poetry perfectly, otherwise it would be so difficult to grasp the language of poetry, of course — If you can simultaneously write by two languages, it would be better. Sophy Chen is a poetess who not only can translate poetry but also can write poetry. Relative to her Chinese poetry writing, she is good at English poetry writing.
    When Sophy Chen started to contact with poetry at the first year of middle school, she was attracted by the charm of pure poetry, whatever the modern poetry or ancient poetry she would like to recite them by heart, and then she ignorantly wrote her first poem. Later in the university, because it was to learn English, when she often read English poetry or other works, she always was impressed by the beautiful sounds of English language and its indirect rhythm. Now, among her poems, most of them are English poetry. Sophy Chen spent a lot of time to study meter of English sonnets and haiku, and she finally created her own English sonnets with harmonious rhymes and English haiku with unlimited implication. Now she not only can summarize their differences from European and American classic English poetry to her own English poetry, but also she can compare her English poems to English poems of different times and different authors, “because now she wrote many similar style poems himself, with more profound experience.”
    To compare with original poetry and poetry translation, what the most important in her mind is her original poetry, Sophy Chen believes that there is no original poetry, there is no poetry translation. Since learning a foreign language, she wrote Chinese poetry relatively less than English poetry, in recent years, she has created a lot of Chinese poetry, and gradually rediscovered her original feeling of Chinese poetry writing, which makes her poetry translation works E-C even more accurate and perfect; at the same time, she often tries to translate her own original English poetry into Chinese, and again to translate her original Chinese poetry into English, in the original creation and translation process of two languages, Sophy Chen has profoundly experienced the creation secrets of two languages and nuances between them.
    English Education Industrialization Boosting Chinese Poetry Internationalization
    As we all know that if the translated poetry collections had not been published and well sold in the book market, and only spread at websites, WeChat, and etc, they were probably the humble “Personal Action,” in the people’s eyes of official institutions and probably not only the “small trouble to make,” but also unable to give further international exchanges and cooperation to provide resources for reference template. Thus, after translated and published six Chinese poet’s poetry collections and some representatives of Chinese poets and international poets’ masterpieces, Sophy Chen naturally initiated her idea to translate the Chinese poets’ and international poets’ poetry collections to publish and promote them in the international book market. Only embarking on translation, publishing, distribution, and “integrated” line of communication integration, Chinese literary and poetry can really find a foothold in the international stage. For this, Sophy Chen has a deep understanding in the past few years to exchange of ideas with Chinese and foreign poets. At present, in mainland of China, apart from those most authoritative official poetry anthologies, the most famous academic group of contemporary poets, as Bei Dao, Haizi, Shu Ting, and a number of modern poets, as Xu Zhimo, and Dai Wangshu, another poets’ poetry collections and the poetry yearbooks, are almost entirely at their own expense or find sponsorship to publishing. In the face of poetry’s recession, and poetry’s ecological reality of being marginalized, a translator who has only relied on a few thousand Yuan for a living, wants to launch the English translation collections of Chinese poets or international poets’ Chinese anthologies, even the soliciting contributions and translation is not a problem, well the cost of publication is the biggest problem.
    In addition to poetry translation, Sophy Chen’s another social character is an English teacher, she will go Universities to have her classes in leisure and finish her classes in leisure every week. She once taught hundreds of people’s IELTS, TOEFL, postgraduate’s English examination courses, and even the college entrance English examination courses, which made her students’ regain their English learning confidence, enhance their English learning ability, and improve their English score rapidly in the very short time and even help the students whose original entrance exams were 50s, near the college entrance English examination only 30 days, by Sophy Chen’s profound taught, those students’ score were easily broken 120 points in the college entrance English examination. Now her students of her IELTS and TOEFL classes have mostly graduated abroad. The largest evaluation of her students is: the most proud of learning English with Sophy Chen is to have established their own self-confidence in English learning, opened the door to the mystery of English language and had a profound impact on their life.
    Originally, this could be considered as Sophy Chens’ better English teaching experience, but it had been halted up after her poetry translation. In addition to finish the English classes provided by her school, she no longer teaches other students. Because she felt that poetry translation was a highly challenging thing, she must try her best to do and could not be distracted. If not for her plan of “Chinese Contemporary Poetry Translation Yearbook” (tentative name) has been unable to raise funds to sponsor the publication, she may never think of her talent in English education and develop her teaching talent.
    Now Sophy Chen’s dreams are she hopes she can build her English education brand by the advantage of her English teaching, and raise funds for Chinese poetry translation, international promotion and exchange, and give her hands to Chinese poetry internationalization. It is always good to have a dream, but the key is that we need the effective approaches, methods and steps to realize it. In this regard, Sophy Chen has her own grand vision between her joyous words full of longing feelings. Now, she is hoping to rely on her own personal brand influence among poets’ circles, literary circles, English circles, and entrepreneurs’ circles, and gradually build Sophy education brand and give different English courses for different needs of students by online live or one-to-one teaching or small classes. In the near future, Sophy Chen would like to establish her own network teaching platform, and start her own online live classroom; she would like to develop and compile her own education materials from the every beginning, the zero based English foundation to IELTS, TOEFL and graduate English and even poetry translation; she would like to open up Chinese literature and poetry publishing and distribution channels in oversea countries by the international exchange and cooperation, so that make every poet or writer who wants to publish her or his works to improve his international influence; at the same time she would like to create the Poetry Translation and Research Center to cultivate the Chinese poetry translation talents and specialized and international Chinese culture spreading talents, and eventually flourish the works of Chinese outstanding writers and poets internationalized.
    Sophy Chen said that her wish is to make Sophy Education a public company as “New Oriental”. Let us sincerely wish all of her dreams can be true!

    苏菲(Sophy Chen),本名陈丽华,中国当代女诗人、翻译家。“苏菲诗歌&翻译网”创办人。1975年生于陕西汉中略阳。毕业于西安外国语大学英文学院,在外语类院校任教至今。

    现为“苏菲诗歌&翻译网”总编、混语版《世界诗人》季刊客座总编、中国翻译协会会员、国际诗歌翻译研究中心研究员。1989年开始汉语诗歌写作,2004年开始英文诗歌写作,并在各大报刊发表英汉双语诗歌和英汉双语诗歌翻译作品。曾参与汉英读本《中国新诗300首(1917—2012)》部分作品的英译及全书的英文校对。审译纯英文版《世界诗歌年鉴2013》、《世界诗歌年鉴2014》。

    2012年,获国际知名英语诗歌专业网站 POETRY.COM 授予的“传奇诗人称号”,同年获国际诗歌翻译研究中心(IPTRC)颁发的2012年度“国际最佳翻译家奖”。2014年荣获“中国当代诗歌奖”(2013—2014)翻译奖。

    Hearty greetings to all the unacknowledged legislators of mankind. This is an invitation for you all to be part of a poetry anthology project.
    It has often been observed that in the world of poetry painful situations yield pleasure; pity and fear transmute into something delightful and immensely enjoyable. There is an obvious connection between the language of poetry and contradiction. Poetry often seems to use a language that relies heavily on oxymora, paradoxes and contradictions. Hence this attempt to anthologize this puzzling chemistry between poetry and paradox.
    We plan to publish this anthology online (at www.mutemelodist.com) initially and if required publish it as a book with ISBN. Poems are invited from anyone all over the world passionate about poetry. With passion as the only criterion, we don’t charge anyone for publishing; nor will we pay anyone.

    前提与背景

     

    长期以来,由于中外语言沟通的障碍,国内诗歌界的孤芳自赏以及对国际诗坛闭关冷漠的心态,中国诗歌和国际诗歌界处于隔绝或信息严重不对等的状态。诗歌作为高雅艺术无疑是处于边缘的,也是小众的,但诗歌的翻译和传播自新诗创建百年以来,从胡适、周作人等人开始,却必须也只能由文化精英分子来做。“苏菲诗歌&翻译网”,就是目前为止中国唯一一家以诗歌翻译家名字命名的国际诗歌翻译网,也是中国首家英汉对照诗歌翻译网。在建站之初,创始人苏菲/Sophy Chen/ 陈丽华就明确提出了促进中国诗歌与国际诗歌的直接、对等沟通的宗旨。中文版网站(http://www.sophypoetry.com/cn)自2014年10月份试运行以来,给中国诗歌直通国际、国际诗歌走进中国带来了莫大的惊喜;作为中外诗人在线交流的一条纽带,作为诗歌翻译与传播的先行者,“苏菲诗歌&翻译网”已经在中国的诗歌界、翻译界以及国际诗人圈中产生了相当大的影响力,其品牌价值正与日俱增。

    一个logo是一个品牌最基础的识别标记。“苏菲诗歌&翻译网”最初的logo是由网站制作者诗人大藏设计的,由于平面设计能力与技巧的欠缺,我们的品牌logo非常蹩脚,与我们的品牌张力和任重而道远的发展前景极不相符。

    为了苏菲诗歌和苏菲诗歌翻译的国际形象和未来的发展愿景,本网创始人苏菲/陈丽华本人向全球发起“苏菲诗歌&国际翻译网”Logo 征集大赛。希望热爱诗歌的读者、诗人、作家,特别是专业的平面设计师为“苏菲诗歌&国际翻译网”出谋划策,锦上添花。

    在最初的品牌印记中,人们首先记住了“sophy”(红色字体)这一个核心的视觉和意义元素;同时,作为频频出现的,品牌主要视觉标识的苏菲个人肖像,更是被读者和诗人们铭记在心。

    一、logo设计作品最终入选作为“苏菲诗歌&国际翻译网”Logo的参赛设计师享有以下待遇:

    1)国际logo设计奖为设计者所有,苏菲会为其义务翻译提交英文参赛所需文本资料(但所需参赛费用由设计者自行提供,);

    2)作品一旦获奖,“苏菲诗歌&国际翻译网”下属的所有媒体和合作媒体将会英汉对照新闻报道。汉英对照介绍刊载该设计师的设计简介和照片;

    3)如果长期义务合作,可在网站为其酌情开设设计师栏目,展示设计者作品;

    二、优秀设计者(不管是否获奖)自愿为苏菲以后出版、主编的系列书籍的装帧设计、网刊设计及相关的图片美化承担无偿义务工作者:

    1、苏菲将优先特聘该设计师为网站的艺术设计顾问,写进顾问名单;苏菲主编的系列诗歌书籍,将优先特聘该设计师为封面设计师,写进版权页面,公示于全球。

    2、国际图书封面设计奖为设计者所有,苏菲会为其义务翻译提交英文参赛所需文本资料,(但所需参赛费用由设计者自行提供);作品一旦获奖“苏菲诗歌&国际翻译网”下属的所有媒体和合作媒体将会英汉对照新闻发布报道。汉英对照介绍刊载该设计师的设计简介和照片;

    2、文字排列形式:

    由于手机版网站和电脑版网站logo视觉感不同,竖排的文字电脑视觉很好,但是放到手机里就显得很堆叠,累赘。但如果是横排的文字,图片水印显得太长了,因此要根据情况具体处理。最好所有地方都用一个logo标示。

    3、设计理念建议:

    整个logo要高雅,简约,具有视角冲击力,便于记忆、传播。以西方英语文字风格为主要文化元素,体现苏菲Sophy 为主导的主元素,不但要突出国际的概念,还要突出诗歌和诗人的高雅气质;色调要简洁大方,不能超过3种颜色。混合色要过渡自然,整体设计感强。三维立体文字要大气高雅,立体感柔和,切莫立体感生硬。

     

    稿件要求

     

    1)稿件为矢量图或不小于300dpi可用于印刷或标识制作的作品源文件,注明标准比例、标准色、字体和尺寸;

    2)设计稿件附带文字说明,阐述清楚创作理念及表达思想;

    Logo版权:

     1)作品必须原创、有独立自主产权。如涉及第三方侵权行为,由设计提供者负全责。

    2)本奖获奖logo一旦支付对应设计费用,即拥有该作品知识产权,包括著作权、使用权和发布权等,有权对设计作品进行修改、组合和应用。如果被“苏菲诗歌&国际翻译网”选用,要独家买断版权。设计师接受本奖奖金或者合作项目条款,就视为本获奖logo 版权已转为“苏菲诗歌&国际翻译网”所有,不得再转让或者卖给他人所用。

    3)请所在国设计师代为协助logo版权注册。

    Premise & Background

     

    For a long time, due to the communication barriers of Chinese and foreign languages, the narcissism of Chinese poets and their retreated and indifferent attitude to international poetry, Chinese poetry and international poetry circles are in the condition of isolation or of its severe information asymmetry. Poetry as refined and elegant art is undoubtedly on the brink, and it is also a small minority, but the new poetry translation and dissemination, since its creation of a century, starting from Hu Shi, Zhou Zuoren and others, must be done and can be done by its cultural elites.

    Due to the different logo visual sense of mobile site and desktop site, vertical text in computer vision is very good, but when put it in the phone which becomes very stacked and cumbersome. But if it is in horizontal text, its watermark image appears too long, so the designers have to deal with it according to its specific circumstances. It would be best that all places are marked with one logo.

    3, Design Recommendations:

    The logo should be elegant, simple, and easy to remember and spread with a perspective impact.

    With western English words style as its main cultural elements, its logo should reflect Sophy’s leading element, which is not only to highlight its international concept, but also to highlight the poetry and poets’ elegance; the logo’s color should be simple and elegant, no more than three colors. Mixed color coordination should be to the natural transition, with a sense of strong overall design. Three-dimensional logo should be in elegant character atmosphere, with a natural three-dimensional sense, and without a stiff three-dimensional sense.

    田原

    田原,旅日诗人、文学博士、翻译家。1965 年生于河南漯河,90 年代初赴日留学,现任教于日本城西国际大学人文学部。先后出版有《田原诗选》等五本诗集。在中国大陆、台湾和美国获得过华文诗歌奖。 2001年用日语创作的三首现代诗获日本第一届“留学生文学奖”。2010 年获得日本第 60 届“H氏诗歌大奖”。2013 年在国内获得第 10 届上海文学奖等。

      

     

     近日,诗人、翻译家田原的新作《梦蛇——田原诗集》由东方出版社出版。旅日20余年来,田原一直坚持中日双语创作,是国内目前屈指可数的双语诗人。诗集《梦蛇》从田原26年创作中精选出99首,绝大部分作品写于远离母语现场的异国他乡。

     
    2010年6月,他凭借日语诗集《石头的记忆》获得有“日本诗坛芥川奖”之称的“H氏诗人大奖”,也是目前唯一获得该奖的中国人。

     【 南都:从高中开始写诗,大学时代就出版了第一本诗集,你最早与诗歌是如何结缘的?】

     
    田原:在诗集《梦蛇》的访谈里涉及过这一问题。我最初的诗歌写作比较被动,似乎是响应了缪斯的呼唤才拿起了写诗的笔。记得是在高二秋天一个晴朗的周日,从学校门口的小火车站坐火车一起去同学的家乡看山。我因为出生在平原,说的诗意一点,从小我是看着地平线长大的。当我们气喘吁吁一口气爬上山顶,远眺带给我的那种难以言表的俯瞰的高远之感使我产生了从未有过的感动,回到宿舍后这种感动促使我一气呵成写下了处女作——第一首分行的文字,当时的情景可谓奋笔疾书。就是在这一年的初冬,十分怯弱地把写好的一首短诗寄给当地的报纸副刊,没想到发表了。阅读和大量发表是考入大学以后的事。
     
    【 南都:赴日留学是你自己的决定吗?】
     
    田原:赴日留学也是被动的。对二十世纪九十年代初没有任何家庭背景的中国人来说,出国留学堪比登天,所以内心一直感恩公派这一机遇。由于当时没有日语基础,刚到日本时有很多不安,但安顿下后,反而觉得自己并没有出国,而是来到了汉字的另一个故乡。尽管那时的我几乎还说不出一句完整的日语,但从我居住的公寓出来,无论是路边还是街巷到处都挂满了汉字的招牌,比如说超市、理发店、餐馆、邮局、银行、车站等汉字招牌和路标都能正确无误地指示我走到目的地。初到日本并未觉得来到了一个陌生的国度,但随着时间的推移,因语言不通和中断写作所产生的焦虑感无以言表。对日本的第一印象是:干净、社会秩序井然有序、安静、人心向善和彬彬有礼的仪式等等,感觉自己从一个迟缓的农耕时代一步跨入了工业和文明发达高速运转的现代化社会。
     
    【 南都:你是在怎样一个情况下结识谷川俊太郎的?】
     
    田原:这个问题以前也回答过,在创作年谱里也有写到。一九九五年,我的一本中英文对照诗集在伦敦的英国剑桥华人世界出版社出版,为这本小书,我当时就读的天理大学为此举办了一场规模不小的出版纪念会。在那次出版纪念会上,精通英文的莎士比亚专家小林孝信教授提议让我在他的课堂上讲一下自己的诗歌写作。为那节课,小林教授还特意制作了B4大小的两页资料发给学生,资料里印满了谷川俊太郎的初期作品和我的几首英文诗。下课后,带着那两页资料回到当时我居住的大学宿舍,借着从国内带来的《日汉辞典》试译了几首谷川的诗。这是我第一次接触他的作品。出人预料的是他的诗带给我很大的震动和兴奋,那种感觉至今仍记忆犹新。当时面临考研,只是零星的阅读和翻译,而有计划的开始大量翻译他的作品是考入国立大阪大学(当时为大阪外国语大学)外语系硕士班以后的事。

     【 南都:作为谷川俊太郎的研究者和译者,他的诗歌对你的创作有着怎样的影响?】

     
    田原:这个问题我觉得应该由研究者或读者来回答。不过,通过长年对谷川诗歌的翻译和研究,我发现具有普遍性的诗歌大都来自感性,而且在诗人无意识状态的写作中自然而然地形成了感性、理性、想象、技术、叙述、意识、抒情、口语、书面语和无意识等艺术上的平衡。就个人而言,我始终警惕语言的概念化和毫无节制的拖泥带水,尤其反感故作高深。

    【 南都:去年,一些新闻事件使“诗歌翻译”在国内引起广泛讨论,你对“诗不可译”的观点是否同意呢?】
     
    田原:我曾写过一篇谈诗歌翻译的长论。去年在北外的一家杂志的访谈里也谈到过。翻译作为一门学问至今尽管还没完全被确立下来,但翻译自古就存在它的翻译伦理。诗歌作为一种感性和不确定的文体,它确实存在不可译的一面,而真正好的诗歌都是可译的,被译成其他语言后其原作良好的普遍精神和艺术气氛并不会逊色太多,恰恰是那些二三流作品承受不住翻译的检验。翻译成了这些年我审视和评价现代诗的标准之一。
      
    【 南都:这在你译诗过程中是如何体现的?特别是日语这种语言,它独有的模糊和暧昧性是否会加大翻译的难度?】
     
    田原:日语与生俱来的暧昧性对翻译确实是一种挑战,也是一种难度,尤其是诗歌的翻译,这一点毋庸置疑。有时我也愿意把日语的暧昧性视为一种翻译的机遇。“暧昧”这个词在英语里有ambiguity(多义性)之意,这样或许能为译者提供更多的想象和思考的空间。
     
    【 南都:新出版的诗集《梦蛇》里有不少诗译自日语,这个过程是否意味着二次创作?你会常常修改自己的作品吗?】
     
    田原:是的,在翻译自己的日语作品时,有些无法置换的微妙之处确实有“改头换面”的时候,也就是所谓的二次创作吧。但我在翻译别人的作品时,不会轻易僭越原作的意义或意象。对自己的作品只有极个别的会偶有修改,一般而言,大部分作品基本上就是定稿后的那个样子了。

     【 南都:有人说非母语写作实际上是一种文化翻译,对你来说,用日语和汉语写作,分别有着怎样不同的感受?】

     
    田原:何止是非母语写作,母语诗歌写作某种意义上也是一种文化翻译,或说成置换和转换也无可厚非。我觉得诗人跟小说家的最大不同在于,诗人写作或与灵感不期而遇时,心中常常会有另一个诗人的“自己”存在,这个“自己”或许是诗人的童年或少年,甚或是处于会说话之前的无语言状态的婴儿。这个只可意会无法言传的“自己”是诗人保持童心的根源。它既是诗人心灵中的一种状态,也是带给诗人勃勃朝气和创造力的另一种意义上的他者。一位好的诗人,即使活到秃头没齿的耄耋之年,他的童心仍不会因岁月和世俗的磨损而黯淡,反而会随着人生阅历的加深和丰富而更加透明、阔达和纯粹。
     
    我在第二本日语诗集的后记里写过这样一段话:“用日语写作时,一部分词汇对于我仍具有一种挑战,使我不得不如履薄冰地彳亍,向着意义的彼岸。恰恰是这种挑战和刺激,在不断地激发着我用日语写作的欲望和驾驭日语的好奇心。母语是命中注定的妻子,日语是我有缘结识的情人,二者都是一种宿命。对于诗人,语言永远是一堵在默默长高的墙,它看不见摸不着,考验着诗人跨越的本领。”用母语写作,使用的修辞无论是它的本意还是引申意,甚至是约定俗成的语义基本上都能把握,而用日语写作时,个别修辞除字典的解释外,背后所隐藏的由历史文化心理所形成的意思有时却不得而知。
     
    【 南都:你曾经说过,双语写作使你能站在一个客观平台上审视母语,旅日多年后,你对汉语、汉语诗歌、以及国内文学生态是否有了不一样的认识?】
     
    田原:确实发生了变化。比如,在留学之前,更准确地说,是在掌握一门外语并且越过母语使用外语写作之前,我对国内诗坛的看法大都是仅仅以母语作为衡量的标准,换言之,就是我无能为力用另一种语言客观地去看待和评价汉语现代诗。开始用日语写作后,站在另一种语言的立场再去看那些诗人时,有些诗人仍然作为一流诗人呈现在日语之中,而另一些诗人却在日语面前变成了三流。我曾在一篇日语文章里谈到过那些不被外语接纳的诗人,简言之:1、诗歌文本的封闭性;2、缺乏文学的普遍性。3、诗人对自己内在小我以及个人情绪的叙述和书写,跟外在广阔无边的的世界没有关联性。
     
    【 南都:你在日本的大学任教,学生们对中国现代诗歌有了解吗?中国现代诗歌在日本整体的译介情况如何?】
     
    田原:读博期间,我曾经在日本的两所大学讲授过中国现代诗,而且也身体力行先后在三家日语杂志上翻译连载过中国现代诗人的作品。近二十年前,日本读者对中国现代诗的认识仅仅停留于几位被译介到日本的朦胧诗人的作品。这些年局面在发生变化,尤其是汉学家、诗人竹内新翻译的两册《中国新生代诗人诗选》出版之后,日本诗人和读者不仅对中国年轻一代的诗人有了更多了解,还十分关注。十多年以来,由中坤公司资助的中日诗人的全面交流更是为加深彼此的理解推波助澜。现在日本最权威的的思潮社已经在有计划地定期出版中国诗人的诗集。
     
    【 南都:去年《泛叙实派诗人论》这本书把你列入代表诗人,你是如何看待这个流派的?以及诗歌和现实的关系?】
     
    田原:大概跟远离国内现代诗现场有关吧,是一位诗人朋友把我拉进这个流派之后才知道的。后来陆续读到诗人、批评家子午的长篇巨论和他的编著,才知道国内诗歌流派如此之多,但无论每一个流派如何,一些一直默默为诗歌做出大量工作的人都值得敬重。
     
    诗歌跟现实的关系是一个古老的话题。无论诗人的风格如何,也无论诗人伟大与否,作为现实生活中的一个人,都离不开具体而琐碎的吃喝拉撒睡和锅碗瓢盆交响曲。作为诗人,最为关键的是怎样通过独特的语言和想象力超越自己的实际生活或生命经验,把它转化为无懈可击使时间无法腐蚀的诗歌作品。歌德、艾略特、庞德、马拉美、洛尔迦、博尔赫斯等等也都是从活生生的现实生活中走出来的。
     
    每个诗人对现实的理解不同,现实的外延和内涵也不尽相同。宇宙是一种现实,历史是一种现实,置身的生活现场是一种现实,足不出户而形成的精神状态也是一种现实等等。国内当下好像有不少诗人对现实的理解过于狭隘。

    Sophy Chen, her name, Lihua and family name, Chen, born in Lueyang, Hanzhong, Shannxi Provinve, China, is the Chinese contemporary poetess, translator, and American English “Legendary Poet”. She is the founder of “Sophy Poetry & Translation Website”, “Sophy Poetry & Translation” International Magazine and “Sophy International Translation Publishing House” and the founder and leading lecturer of “Sophy English Forum”. She graduated from English Institute of Xian Foreign Studies University in English Literature. She began to write Chinese poetry in 1989 and English poetry in 2004, and she began to translate Chinese Poetry into English poetry and English poetry into Chinese poetry in 2005. She won the annual “International Best Translator” Award 2012(C-E)and the Chinese Contemporary Poetry (2013-2014) Translation Award(C-E). PENTASI B World Featured Poet 2018(E-E) She translated and published six Chinese poetry collections into English, The Flower Swaying (2014) , The Tibetan Incense(2014), The Outlook of Life (2014), The Different Tunes (2014), The Body Forward (2015), and A Poetry Biography for White Snake (2015), etc. Her English original poetry collection, Sophy English Sonnets, Tuberose, only 8 poems, published in Amazon in E-book.

    “Sophy Poetry & Translation Website” has been opened more than a year at the end of 2014, which greatly encouraged Sophy Chen’s original poetry writing and promoted her poetry translation.
     “Sophy Poetry & Translation Website”, http://www.sophypoetry.com, is the first international poetry translation website of China, which is organized in Sophy Chen’s own name as a translator and poetess, in Chinese-English, English or French languages, and which is committed to translate and promote the excellent Chinese poetry and excellent international poetry.
    In the website in addition to some individual columns’ poetry translated by other translators, all of English-Chinese and Chinese-English poetry are independently translated by Sophy Chen.
    “Sophy Poetry & Translation Website”, holding its poetry translation idea of “rigorousness, excellence, and vividness,” publishes Sophy Chen herself independently translated bilingual poetry, and promotes the excellent poetry internationalization.
    October 8, 2014, the Chinese-English version website was opened, which is edited on-line by (SOPHY CHEN) Chen Lihua; she’s planned to open English-English version website, English International Poetry Forum, and then French version website in the near future. After that she will publish E-magazine of this website as much as possible.
    “Sophy Poetry & Translation Website” is not Sophy Chen’s personal website, but it is a useful attempt to unit national and international best translators by her individual hands as a poetry translator to provide translation text online for the majority of poetry circles without borders.
    She hopes that this website can reflect the current common trend that poetry translation goes to international poetry world and international poetry has a good communication with foreign translators.

    First, Poetry News includes four sub-sections: Sophy Poetry News, International Poetry News, Domestic Poetry News, Media Reports About Sophy
    Sophy Poetry News: report Sophy Chens’ poetry translation news and her poetry activity news in which she participated.
    International Poetry News: report the major international publishing news and poetry activity news.

    Second, Profiles of Personage: the column specifically for the contemporary Chinese and world famous poetry translators, poets which publishes their translation or original English and Chinese poetry.
    It includes two sub-sections: Translators’ Profiles and Poets’ Profiles. Several poems of translators and poets, such as Zhang Zhi (Diablo), Zhang Zhizhong, Yangke, YI SHA, and Xiaoxiao, have been successively published in this section. The poetess Xiaoxiao’s section is most visited, and its unique visitors exceeded 3,000 within a week. In the poetry gradually marginalized background, these hits are very rare which shows that some well-known poets’ potential attractiveness to poetry group is still very big, so we can not underestimate our own capabilities.
    Third, Sophy Poetry Translation: publishes Sophy Chen’s Chinese-English and English-Chinese translation poetry translated independently by her, which focuses on the Chinese poetry and English translation and promotion.
    It consists of three primary subtopics: 1)Poetry Translation C-E, 2) Poetry Translation E-C, and 3) Sophy Prose Translation.
    Poetry Translation C-E: consists of five sub-sections: A. Translation Works of Chinese Poets before 1960, B. Translation Works of Chinese Poets after 1960, C. Translation Works of Chinese Poets after 1970. D. Translation Works of Chinese Poets after 1980, and E. Translation Works of Chinese Poets after 1990.
    2) Poetry Translation E-C: A. Chinese Translation of Foreign Poets, B. Chinese Translation of English Poets
    A. Chinese Translation of Foreign Poets: publishes the translation poems of non-English speaking poets, mainly translated from English.

    苏菲(Sophy Chen),本名陈丽华,中国当代女诗人、翻译家。出生于陕西汉中略阳县;毕业于西安外国语大学英文学院。美国英语“传奇诗人”。 “苏菲诗歌&翻译网”、“苏菲诗歌&翻译”(英汉双语)国际杂志社、“苏菲国际翻译出版社”创建人。“苏菲英语讲坛”创办者兼主讲人。 1989年,开始汉语诗歌写作、2004年开始英语诗歌写作、2005年开始英汉双语诗歌翻译。 获2012年度“国际最佳翻译家奖”(评选语言英汉双语)。“中国当代诗歌奖”(2013—2014)翻译奖(评选语言英汉双语)。获2018年 PENTASI B 世界杰出诗人提名奖(评选语言英语)。 翻译出版英译诗歌集六部:《花动摇》、《藏香》、《生之瞭望》、《异调》、《胴体向前》、《白娘子诗传》。 英语诗歌原创集“苏菲英语十四行诗”《晚香玉》,电子书在美国亚马逊英语图书网出版。

    “苏菲诗歌&翻译网”从2014年底开通至今已有一年多时间,给苏菲的诗歌原创和诗歌翻译带来极大的鼓励和推动。
    “苏菲诗歌&翻译网”http://www.sophypoetry.com 是中国首家以翻译家、诗人的个人名义主办、汉英(法)对照的国际诗歌翻译网,致力于中国优秀诗歌的翻译与国际化推广,同时致力于国际优秀诗歌的翻译与传播。
    网站除个别栏目的诗歌作品由其他翻译家翻译之外,所有英汉—汉英对照诗歌作品均由苏菲独立翻译而成。
    “苏菲诗歌&翻译网”秉持“治学严谨、精益求精、形神兼备”的诗歌翻译理念,刊载苏菲本人独立翻译完成的双语对照诗歌作品,推动精品诗歌的国际化。
    2014年10月8日首先开通汉英对照版网站,由苏菲(SOPHY CHEN)陈丽华,本人编辑上线;计划于近期,开通纯英文版网站和英语国际诗歌论坛,最后再开通法文版网站。之后将不定期推出苏菲诗歌翻译网刊。
    “苏菲诗歌&翻译网”不是苏菲一个人的网站,而是苏菲以诗歌翻译者的一己之力,试图联合国内外最优秀的翻译家,为国内外广大诗歌界人士提供文本翻译和在线的无国界传播的一次有益尝试。

    里面设两个子栏目:《译家风采》和《诗人风采》。这个栏目已先后刊载:张智(野鬼)、张智中、杨克、伊沙、潇潇等一批翻译家和诗人的作品。女诗人潇潇的栏目浏览量最大,一周内独立访问量突破3000次。在诗歌逐渐边缘化的背景下,这种点击量非常难得,由此说明某些著名诗人对诗歌群体的潜在吸引力仍然非常大,所以我们不能妄自菲薄。
    三、《苏菲译诗》:刊载苏菲独立翻译完成的英汉双语诗歌作品,侧重于国内汉语诗歌作品的翻译推介。
    下设一级子栏目三个:1)汉语诗歌英译、2)英语诗歌汉译、3)苏菲散文翻译。
    1)汉语诗歌英译:下设五个子栏目:A. 中国60前诗人作品英译、B. 中国60后诗人作品英译、C. 中国70后诗人作品英译、D. 中国80后诗人作品英译、E. 中国90后诗人作品英译。
    2)英语诗歌汉译:A. 外国诗人作品汉译、B. 英语诗人作品汉译。
    A. 外国诗人作品汉译:主要翻译非英语国家诗人的诗歌作品,主要是从英语转译而来。
    B. 英语语诗人作品汉译:主要翻译英语国家的英语诗歌。
    3)苏菲散文翻译:A. 苏菲散文英译、B. 苏菲散文汉译。
